I love a bit of Louis Theroux... I think he done a marvelous job in last night's show. Felt very sorry for Heidi's husband, he seemed very sad and lonely with his Mrs downstairs with Joe.
Largely they all seemed very at ease with their set ups. Fair play to them, if they are all consenting and happy, they are doing no harm.
The kids involved may find it difficult to live in conventional relationships in the future I guess but they all seemed fairly well rounded, loved children.

I’ll say; The dungeon was likely coloured bright pink and doubtlessly put all of Christian Grey’s collected paraphernalia to utter shame; Last I heard though, Archie fled the country to work for Putin who hired him in developing nerve agents......It’s amazing and indeed, quite frightening what a used loo roll, string and some PVA glue can achieve.... |

I'm assuming people in a successful polyamorous relationship wouldn't be on a documentary justifying themselves but I could be wrong.
I saw nothing in that show that lead me to believe that everyone in the arrangement was happy except possibly the three IT people but I sensed one guy was on the outside emotionally.
We sat in bed talking about it aghast at the woman who said she wasn't responsible for her husband's happiness and his reaction of repeating what she'd said like an automaton. He threw her a bit of a curveball when he said he'd be up for a threesome or just watching though . However she just dismissed that out of hand. Hmm. Not my cup of tea at all. |

We have to be careful of sample bias. Most the documentaries I've seen on polyamory have shown conventionally unattractive people on ego trips over getting lots of attention. I'm sure louix could edit a documentary or two to make swingers look that way too, but it wouldn't be representative. |
