Last year...I was positive I would need glasses for the first time in my life but the optician said no you definitely don't need them. I felt like I was squinting a lot to focus but cos of job I do she said that's normal

A few months ago. Having spent 6 years working in optics I know exactly how important regular eye checks are. It’s not just to test whether you need glasses but is a health check that can potentially pick up on very serious health conditions and could save your life!

Years ago! I was told then I needed glasses. Got some and then realised I started to become dependent on them and my normal vision seemed to suffer when I took them off.

So now I don’t bother, haven’t worn glasses for years and my vision diesnr seem to have changed adversely in all that time. So for as long as I can get away with it, I’m not going to wear any.
