What monster movie gives you chills but gives you plenty of fun thrills?

My favourite has to be Deep Rising where a group of hired mercenaries are gonna hijack a leisure cruise liner only to find that everyone on board has been devoured by a tentacled sea monster.

Somewhere In The Ether…

Great movie

I’m a bit of a sucker for the Japanese Godzilla movies; Daft as hell but strangely addictive

King kong. The black and white one made me cry as a kid when he fell off the Empire State building.

The Thing. The ultimate stop-frame monster :D and bleak too. The communist paranoia in the USA during the 50s spawned some great films and books and a whole lot of unpleasantness.
