So far today I have made:

Chestnut mushroom and thyme soup

Prawn stir fry with sweet peppers, ginger, garlic, chilli, baby corn, shiitake mushrooms, spring onion - served on baby gem lettuce.

Also have a vanilla and blueberry skyr cake with a biscotti, dark chocolate and rum base chilling in the fridge..

Who is coming over for some?

Somewhere In The Ether…

That sounds like a great set of dishes. Well done you

My culinary prowess is sadly somewhat lower than yours; it’s a sandwich for me tonight

Continuing with the comfort food theme, today's dishes have included a roast Mediterranean veg and chorizo soup for lunch and pork loin roasted in mustard and calvados served with mash and veg for tea.

About 80% of the stuff that I eat is home cooked, I have batch cooking days and then freeze it. I usually start with a recipe from a cookbook then adapt it over time to suit my particular taste. Tonight I'm cooking a Beef Buffad, there's quite a few ingredients and a fair bit of prep, but it's totally worth it
