Cheesecake......yes, I was pondering the joys of this wonderful invention. But how on earth did it come into being? Who invented it and how did anyone think that cheese would lend itself to a cake in the first place?!
But by gum, it DOES work and works bloody well!
So.....list here other dishes/ingredients which on paper sound like culinary disasters, yet which actually, against all recognised taste logic, actually compliment one another. |

Sugar and fat ?
Add sugar almost anything and most humans will become addicted to it's dopamine rush
Now vinegar on the other hand wtf sour gone off wine
Who would a thought it? usually made palatable with sugar or fatty carbohydrates though |
