Oh I need to buy a new one. I loathe getting in to a cold bed. I’ve also been eyeing up some brushed cotton bedding

"Never time! Couldn’t think of anything worse. I like a cold bed. Is that odd? "

I’m the same. I never have the radiator on in the bedroom and usually have the window open a crack.

Me too. Even when it’s knee deep in snow the window has to be open.

But dual control as the old man whines if his side gets warm.

if its been stored away test it before you use it.

over time electric blankets can break down and cause fires and injury.

check it first folks.

Sometimes U.K

Used to have one when I rented a cold and damp bedsit in my 20’s, never felt it was safe though and worried I would wake up ‘on fire’

Not quite yet. The heat of my log burner is keeping the coldness at bay for now.

I'll save the blanket until into minus figures

In all honesty I don't bother with the leccy blanket for sleeping but it's good on colder nights for 'meets' ..... no one shrinkin' and shiverin' on cold sheets

They’re really great; Instant heat (just as with halogen hobs) and have a brilliant safety mechanism wherein if it is knocked over, it automatically shuts down. They’re also quite cheap
