I just hope Seann doesn't get too much stick.

Looking forward to it.

Oh, also hope Ashley stops pulling those dramatic facial expressions. It's becoming pretty irritating

I suspect no matter what happens Seann will suffer a backlash in votes so predicting him for the dance off before he's even danced unless his dance is particularly spectacular

Very lacklustre show tonight. Faye is still my number one, followed by Danny John and Graeme Swan. Seann and Katya's performance showed they hadn't done a lot of training this week, Quelle surprise and I wonder if they are hoping to be in the bottom two tomorrow. I admire Katie and I think she should be in the dance off tomorrow, but I would think the public will keep her in.

Have to agree - highlight for me was Stacey and Kevin - but overall not that great, think Katie and possibly Charles again for the dance off. Agree re Seann and Katya wasn't that impressed with their dance at all but the judges didn't seem to find much fault

Yeah it was - based on the dance alone hers was the poorest on the night - there's a few in the next tranche of ability including Lauren, Charles, Seann and Dr Ranj and to a lesser extent Graeme and Vick who will probably be the next few to go, although there's usually one surprise early on (maybe Danny much as I like him) - I also think Kate needs to refind her form after a poor week this week.

I'd put a bet on an all lady final three of Ashley, Stacey and Faye as things currently stand with Danny an outside bet for that too

Oh so do I like Danny not only for his dance ability but he strikes me as very down to earth and grounded with it - just mentioned him as there does always seem to be one surprise early exit by one of the early contenders - think last year it was the guy from JLS.

Ashley and Danny were A-MAZ-ING darling

Yesterday marked the very first ‘Couples Choice’ dance. Charles (mr cool!) opted for a Street Dance and was pretty awesome

Hopefully Sean will be voted off tonight - he wasn’t great and looked thoroughly uncomfortable throughout his routine (also possibly due to a lingering guilty conscience maybe?....)

A game changing week in my opinion and sorted the wheat from the chaff - if it's any but the bottom three (Seann, Lauren and Vick) in the dance off it'll be a travesty.

Charles, Ashley and Danny all excelled - to be honest I wasn't overly taken with Danny's jive visually but technically it was good. Kate seems to have taken her poor performance last week a little to heart and although she did ok last night may struggle to re-find her form.

Enjoyed tonight - think Dr Ranj should be the one to go based on the dances, joining him in the dance off it's a tough call between Seann, Graeme and Kate - Ashley, Faye and Stacey continue to raise the bar though, and think it's going to take a disaster for any of them not to make the final, although Joe and Danny continue to push them all the way

To be honest I'm not sure either of those two should have been in the dance off based on this week's dances alone - should have been Kate and Danny and Kate to have gone as Danny would have corrected his mistakes.

That said Ranj should have gone last week and wouldn't have lasted much longer.

Think it's heading for an Ashley, Stacey and Faye final barring any disasters and would like to see Stacey win it not only because she's a non-dancer but I think it's about time Kevin won given how many times he's been close since joining.

I like Danny's dancing but he did make some mistakes, so on balance, should have been in the dance off and Kate's Argentine tango was pretty awful. I agree with you on the final. Joe Suggs has done really well, but he doesn't have a lot of charisma

My top three too, but don't care who wins as haven't warmed to any of them. Stacey's voice...aaaaahh!!!

Thought it should have been Rav and Kate in the bottom two. Charles can't hold on for much longer as the public haven't warmed to him and sadly he also has the disadvantage of the awful Karen.

It's been in the news that Danny has been bullying his partner and was on a last warning, he also told her that he was the star, not her, she was ready to quit. It doesn't bode well for the public vote, as he has proven to be very arrogant, I still like his dancing but wasn't impressed with last night's performance.

Was a difficult call but I think on balance the right decision was made - don't think Danny's cause will have been helped by the bad press this week either, but he's definitely gone backwards these past few weeks where others have improved.

Standing by my prediction of a Stacey, Faye and Ashley final too

Anyone else like me that would love to know the actual number of votes cast for each couple? I know why they don't but it would be interesting to get an idea of whether people are voting on the dances or the personalities.

Anyone else like me that would love to know the actual number of votes cast for each couple? I know why they don't but it would be interesting to get an idea of whether people are voting on the dances or the personalities."

Yes I think the 3 girls for the final . Yes I would like to know number of votes too, or at least where the couples came in the voting

I think they are voting on the personalities rather than the performance..

If it was the other way around Danny might have left the week before but all that talk of bullying certainly came at a bad time for him

"My top three tonight are Ashley, Stacey and Faye. Faye has not moved on but the other two have improved over the weeks. Dance off, I think is Charles and maybe Danny, as he has been a dick to his partner, allegedly

What has Danny done? I agree with Charles being in the bottom 2. Seems that the public are not in his corner.

It's been in the news that Danny has been bullying his partner and was on a last warning, he also told her that he was the star, not her, she was ready to quit. It doesn't bode well for the public vote, as he has proven to be very arrogant, I still like his dancing but wasn't impressed with last night's performance. "

Ahh I heard of something similar but thought it was a load of rubbish from the media as try twist stories etc. But the right decision was made in the dance off as Danny made mistakes, whereas Graham made none and had more complex choreography to learn.

When I was watching the judges verdicts, I was expecting some to keep in Danny as he is the better dancer as we've seen over the weeks but Bruno (top guy) outlined it perfectly clear for us- they were there only to judge solely on that dance off. Not sure what Craig was doing last night.

(Some of his posts which referred to Danny’s mum as being (and I quote) ‘As miserable as him’ have subsequently been deleted - not least of all after it emerged that the poor lady is suffering with Alzheimer’s)

Somewhere In The Ether…

Every year there is much talk of ‘fixing’ on the show.

I’m starting to wonder if Joe is being given a bit of a judges’ score boost in order to influence the public vote.

Why? Well, Joe of course brings with him his very own loyal and very sizeable fan base - the YouTube generation crowd, which by logic and doubtless in the minds of the shows producers, consequently equates to more viewers and public interest.

I should hastily add that I have nothing against Joe (In fact quite the opposite, as I’ve actually found him to be one of the most pleasant surprises on the show given that he has no dance background whatsoever) but the last two weeks I’ve really started to notice that his techniques are looking decidedly awkward....

Maybe it’s his overly slender frame?

You have a good point there, I too have felt he looks a bit awkward at times, but seems a nice lad and good that he is dancing at the Tower ballroom, where his grandparents used to dance and he's hoping his Gran will be there, she's 96!

What an arse! I must say I’m very disappointed in him (always loved him as Cat in Red Dwarf).

He now joins the dubious ranks of at least two other sour losing celebs from previous seasons;

Carol Vorderman (wouldn’t come back after she was voted off) and Will Young who quit mid series a few seasons ago as his overinflated ego was irreparably injured after he received some minor criticism from the judges.

Joe, bless him danced a beautiful Quickstep for his lovely Nana. Charles and Ashley were my faves of the night.

I personally thought the judges were a little harsh on Lauren; She has grown so much in confidence over the last few weeks. I hope tonight’s criticisms (and a possibility of a place in the dance offs) won’t knock her beautifully blossoming confidence too much.

My guess, Graeme will be in the dance offs though and that for me at least, his time may have come (he’s done fantastically to get this far however)

For me I'd have Graeme and Kate in the dance off - I thought Lauren was unfairly judged by comparison (although acknowledge I'm no expert) - both Graeme and Kate's dances lacked any wow factor and just did nothing for me, whereas Laurens I thought showed passion and determination even if it wasn't technically perfect.

Joe's a bit too hmmmm bland and safe in his dances for my liking - don't get me wrong he's done fantastically well and has surprised me as I didn't think I'd like him when he was announced but comes across well as a person just don't think he's quite got the wow factor.

I'm sticking to my Ashley/Stacey/Faye final three prediction and think Stacey may just steal it on the popular vote front coupled with her lack of previous dance/performing experience.

Hard to call between Stacey and Faye for dance of the night, but would probably go with Stacey as her dance drew me in more.

Think it'll be Graeme and Lauren in the dance off although think Lauren was again harshly judged compared to others, and agree that Joe appears to be getting favourable treatment especially from Shirley and Bruno - no way did that dance deserve a 10!!

For the comments Ashley got about her dance I think she was over marked. Charles does his quickstep and gets only 1 mark more from Bruno than Danny got for his and he cocked up the whole dance.

I have said it every year, it seems to be a fix for the judges marks but when it comes to just the public votes in the final the right people win.

Graham and Lauren for the dance off for me with Lauren to go as she has no attack week after week

First week I wasn't impressed with any of them. I got dizzy with a headache after Stacey's dance: too manic for me. Almost nodded off during Faye's waltz and don't get me started on what Joe did...10?!!

Still think it will be Ashley, Fay and Stacey in the final. Joe and Lauren in the dance off for me, with Lauren to go as she always seems lacklustre and Joe because his dance was pants and seems to be the judges favourite. AJ's exaggerated moves just highlight how wooden she is.

However I think if she's in the dance off with Graham the judges will save her.

"*Fingers crossed that Charles isn’t in the dance off again*

Joe and Graeme I hope "

I thought Charles wasn't too bad, although I preferred his dance last week. Still going with Lauren and Graeme.

Think the bottom three on the leader board were correct and that if they were to meet in the dance off then the lowest couple would go. Charles, Graham and Lauren are all vulnerable and will most likely be the ones to go over the next few weeks.

No but the ones I took off so it didn't spoil it for others did.

I have never fancied the tour for some reason, is it any good?

We are going to see a show with all the professional dancers in though so hopefully that will be good

Tour is excellent, it’s really good fun and the judges (Craig in particular) dance with some of the celebs too. By floor last year we were in the same hotel. Got some nice photos and they were really nice people.

Yes he was really nice to everyone. Bruno chain smokes, I think that’s why he’s so animated on screen, he’s missing his cigarette but he was lovely too

Think Bruno was nasty in his final shot to Graham.

Why no mention of the disabled dancers who joined the pros at the start ?

There and to the left a bit

Think that goes to show the 'popularity' vs ability element of the programme - whilst it wasn't her best dance there's no way Ashley should have been in the dance off and think that may have a bearing when it comes to the final.

Have to take my hat off to Graeme for a "Dad dancer" he's done pretty well and is obviously well liked by all concerned.

Was I the only one that was particularly moved by the opening dance? I thought it was beautifully and very movingly done.

And lowest points of the night have to go to Rod Stewart's voice!!

I hope that's referring to Sir Rod and not my post

I think Ashley ended up in the bottom two because her voters have voted for her because they thought her dance was the best in that particular week. Because her dance clearly wasn’t this week her usual voters probably voted for with Faye or Stacey. I don’t think she has a big ‘popularity’ following.

For that reason I think she will continually have to be at her best each week now. Faye, Stacey, Joe Sugg and Lauren probably all have a bigger ‘popularity ‘ vote
