But you’re wrong, listening to ‘Fools Gold’ for the first time blew me away. It was like discovering a new colour, didn’t know where the sound come from. Now, I can see the influences, but at the time, fuck it was awesome. Still sounds fresh. |

I’m be the first to admit he can’t sing for shit live. I saw them at Spike Island in 1990 and his voice was ok. I couldn’t bring myself to see them live after they reformed, I’m not interested in bands doing the nostalgia tours, especially not them, I thought they were better than that. |

Ogden's Nut Gone Flake from the album of the same name by The Small Faces. Hadn't listened to that for ages and it still blew me away just the same as it did the first time i heard it. |
