Are you open about your life as a swinger ?
Are you open about the fact you have multiple sexual partners ?
If you have 'come out' has your experience been a positive or negative one in general ?
If you haven't, what keeps you in the closet (so to speak) ?

A few of our friends know. We don’t exactly chat about it, a few of our female friends are very prudish and don’t discuss anything sexual (I get judged on night outs for discussing blumpkins and alaskan pipelines) but a few know.
And my ex-best friend knows, as I wanted advice before I jumped into doing anything |

I'm not "out" about it for a couple of reasons - firstly it's never cropped up in conversation, and even if it did I'm not sure it's information friends or family need to know about me - more importantly though if I were "out" it would reflect on others so wouldn't be right to "out" them by implication. |

I’m very open about it after being in a bad relationship for many years I hide so know I’m open and honest if people don’t like it then I wouldn’t discuss it with them but all my family (older kids parents etc) plus a lot of close friends know and they are happy I am happy |

We have a couple of trusted close friends that know and one family member, the basics at least, if not every minute detail. It's sort of liberating being able to talk to SOMEONE about it, but we definitely wouldn't be shouting about it from the rooftops. |

My sister found out. I met a girl at a swingers club and she turned out to be a friend of my sisters. . But she’s the only one in my family who knows. She was cool with it. |

We don’t hide it from anybody, however our vanilla friends don’t generally talk about it, so unless something crops up in conversation it doesn’t get talked about.
We are in no way embarrassed or shy about what we do, it’s our hobby and we like it! |

I wouldn’t really class myself as a swinger it’s just another way of meeting people . at times it’s somewhat more direct but you don’t always need to get naked to have a fun encounter socials are just as entertaining x |

Absolutely not! I really don’t think my children, not even the grown up ones, would even possibly understand.
If I lived on my own it would be different, but I don’t want to live alone, I’d hate it.
I don’t even tell my workmates, never have done. I hear them gossip about each other’s Sex life and even sexuality, and have no intention of becoming their next piss take topic. |

I'm a single woman. I don't have sex. 
I told one friend some bits of info. I don't trust him anymore but he'd never want anyone to know we were 'friends' so I'm pretty damn sure that any secrets we shared are safe.  |

I wouldn't class myself as a swinger as I have never shared a partner, never attended a club and other than the forums, don't particularly socialise with swingers
I have (and continue to) have several sexual partners though, some as one offs and others for longer periods, some female, some male
My friends know
My family don't
Colleagues don't figure
The way I look at it is, unless asked, I say nothing
If asked, I look them straight in the eye with confidence and say 'yes'
They can do what they want with that |

Experience in life is what makes a person. There are lots that know we are into this lifestyle who are our friends. We wouldn't shout it from the roof tops as you wouldn't when you and your partner have great sex. Would never say its a seperate part of our life, as what we do in our life is all part of our fantastic journey. If we cant be proud of what we do in our life how can vanilla ever understand. |

We don't tell anyone about our sex life either, people just know we are in the lifestyle. We would NEVER discuss that side of it with them. Discretion and all that. We respect the people we meet |
