Watched the first episode of Vanity Fair last night, looks pretty good. I'll be watching episode 2 tonight too, i do love a period drama.

I was undecided whether to watch this, I like some of them (War and peace was great) but not whimsy ones like Pride and prejudice.

No idea what this one is about? Is it better than the corny ones?

Vanity Fair is my all time favourite novel.

I’m saving part 1 & 2 for recuperation viewing after my op tomorrow. Can’t wait.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. And good luck.

Ooh I love a period drama - the nights are drawing in, we'll need some Dickens soon!

Hiding in the shadows

One of my all time favourite books.

Yeah... I was a bit of a classics bookworm in the teens.

I thought last nights episode was brilliant.

That’s good news. I’m always unsure whenever my favourite books get made into film. And thank you!

Sevenoaks

There's always drama when she's on her period.

Second episode down and it’s looking good, but so far, I much prefer the BBC 1998 adaptation.

I liked it. Jos was exactly as I always imagined him to be... ooh tiffin! I adored Frances Le Tour too. Can’t wait for the next instalments. I hope the actress that portrays Becky lives up to her promising performance thus far.
