£50,000
I could pay my mums mortgage off, clear my outstanding loan and buy a bigger vehicle to fit my growing boys, me and my dog with enough boot room for my mum’s mobility scooter. |

About 30k would make life a bit more comfy, much needed house repairs, a non decrepid car and a bit of loose change. It would be greedy to ask for enough to pay off the mortgage |

Enough to cover the deposit on a flat similar to the one I rent. Paying 800quid a month on rent on a flat that's worth £200k makes saving for a deposit near impossible but the mortgage would probably be little more than I pay in rent |

Is there any way you could get a loan "for a car" to pay for the deposit? I have a friend that did that as he couldn't afford the deposit. |

"How much money would it take to make a nice change in your life ?
I'm not talking millions more like x to pay the mortgage off
Or
x to buy a pre owned reliable car as yours is dying etc"
All of it |

Never found money did much to change my life....
Stuff gets bought or sold or used or given away...
But it's just stuff. The things that change my life can never be bought. |

Only those that are well off would ever say that.
If I didn't have to worry about having enough money each month to pay everything then I think I'd be much much happier!!... Far less stressed for sure. |

I’m happy with life the way it is rich or poor, health is the most important thing. It’s no good being rich or well off and being in poor health,I’ll rather have nothing and be in good health and live from month to month.Money doesn’t buy happiness but it can certainly help life easier,I know people who are successful set for life but are some of them happy hell no so it’s just a case of what means most to you. |

However much it would take never to have to work again and do whatever I want for the rest of my life. With my tastes that would be well into the millions. |

Nothing, I am happy with what I have.
Unfortunately money can come via losing loved family members. It's a wonderful gift but doesn't recompense the loss. |

Probably just a good sit down and think about how best to rejig my life and where/if I want to move... so the cost of a week off work maybe? Providing I don't spend the time I should be contemplating perving or reading the forum on fab of course |

£10 million would be enough for me to buy properties for the kids, invest in a couple of small ventures, allow me to relax and stop working like a dog and also to do some good with what’s left on top |
