Takes me longer to care for the cat than to get myself ready!
I get up, brush teeth and wash, dress and then go downstairs and sort the cat out. I feed her and while she’s eating i prep my snack to take to work for my break and fill my travel mug with coffee. After the cat has eaten I then have to wait 20-30 minutes then inject her with insulin. When that’s done and I’ve disposed of the needle I leave for work.
In tota it probably takes me about 40 minutes. I could probably change things around and save time but it seems pointless running up and down stairs, may as well wash and dress when I get up rather than head back upstairs after the cat is fed |

20-30 not long. Up down stairs kettle on dog out. Shower, brush teeth, hair, dressed, dog in, pour coffee. Walk out the door. In winter I start the van as soon as I go down stairs  |
