I take it to mean folk (more often guys) leaping to the defense (often for those that don't need defending) and often "saying things that throw others of their gender under the preverbial bus. |

That’s very true, I guess it depends on who is carrying out the defence or how the defence is carried out.
Of course the majority of the time people are motivated by altruism on here... |
