Had two calls tonight from a Nigerian phone number, checked it out, it’s a scam. Some of these numbers if answered can bill your account by a hefty amount.
Needless to say, it’s been blocked now |

How very dare you suggest some of these nigerians are scammers. I had a very nice chap on the phone earlier, apparently he's a prince, wants to share his wealth with me. Just needed my card details to pay the money over. I can't wait to receive it, should only be a couple of days. How easy can it get |

How do you know it's a scam? Did you got to Nigeria and check it out? |

No they can't, unless you make, certain responses, but just answering it can't. Unless you're. Daily mail reader, then anything is possible. |

Thought that “Nigerian” scam was well known by now.
Think there are always new scams but most of them always seem to ask for your bank card.
Always be aware if it sounds too good to be true, follow your gut feeling.

Funny that I had a friend who was stuck in Greece and her email was in poor English (we normally speak French to each other and her English is really good anyway) so I had some fun wasting that scammer's time |

"I read a story today about a Nigerian scammer that conned a bank out of more than £200million when he sold them an airport, yes an AIRPORT that didn’t exist. "
I know I meant be splitting hairs here but was it the bank "loaned" the money to buy an airport? |

Equity deal as well.
The story doesn’t end there either. He tried to bribe the officials in the court case and after he was released from prison he successfully applied to the court for them to return £161million that had been confiscated |

Was the 161mill part of the 200mill because if it was I find it a little incredulous. |
