I’m wondering after this heat we’ve had, how many people still would like to live in Australia? We have this heat for at least 6 months of the year, with a further sweltering heat in the middle of summer.
A bit different living in it than enjoying it whilst on holiday! |

I know what you mean!
When I'm at home what I do is fill a hot water bottle with cold water and put it in the freezer during the day. When I get back I put it on a tray in front of the fan, works a treat. I have the fan slightly above it and about 2 feet behind it.  |

That's a good idea, great way to keep cool.
We've tried wet wipes in the fridge,cold flanels etc.. Curtains shut during the day but still so warm. |

That's a good idea, great way to keep cool.

It really does work, if you spray a fine mist of water on a towel and lay that on the bed that helps too!
