I live in France and have heard on the radio that they are expecting record temperatures in Europe this weekend.
I have seen 48 deg c since I've lived here, but got in car earlier and it said 50 degrees..
Thank god for aircon..

Just by coincidence I saw the same temps mentioned for the uk you mentioned in france in some daily papers yesterday near to where I live people seemed quite blaise about it, 118f not sure if thats a british record if it happens even 100f is hard to take on board, stop in doors plenty of ventilation and chilled water just to stay healthy...  |
