So I rejoined Tinder today after a break. Been on 8 hours, used a boost, but not got a single match. Last time I was on I got lots of matches only an hour in. Anyone had this problem before? |

I used to get loads but tbh, I don’t use it as much anymore and I think the novelty has worn off a bit. I can be swiping over 50 times and not see anyone I like the look of. |

Given up on phone swipe dating apps for now. I’m going to start giving meaningful glances at single men with baskets in Sainsbury’s. |

Are you starting truly from scratch or just reawakening your old profile? If it's the latter that might explain things. You may need to get a new sim/fb account to truly feature as a new user |

Hmm.... you could try a refresh of the app, could be a possibly bug issue in it (you know when sometimes it doesn’t show the first picture, but does for the rest)
Delete and then reinstall?
Apart from that... all I can think of is that they’ve lost their ability of sight in your radius |

I deleted my old fb account last year due to a stalker (looong story!) I set up a new one. I decided to rejoin tinder today with my new account but for some reason I don't seem to be gettin any matches |

I had the same on POF and tinder last year or longer ago, loads swipes and matches and now not a single thing get odd match but turns out be a bot so it’s a waste
When odd match on tinder message them either don’t reply or turn out be a porn bot lol |

It's just so weird that the same people are popping up again and again and again. I swipe on them....then later on I see them again. Happening loads. Is my app just messed up? |

The people that are popping up are probably people that have liked you. Try the tip above and put it to one mile and anyone over that will be people that have swiped right for you. |

Apologies if this has been said before, I havent read all the responces.
Chances are a lot of guys have seen you and swiped you, but until you swipe them, it won't show as a match. I did a boost about 2 weeks ago and still get matches from it. Give it time.
To be fair, if you look half as hot in your tinder photos as you do on here you'll get loads of guys swiping you, regardless of whether or not you've boosted. |

In the few days I was on Tinder I had a few conversations out of quite a lot of matches. I didn't end up meeting any of them and left the app.
It's not much different for me than it is on here; men chat and move on to the better option, when she comes along. |

Could be a glitch, especially if you're seeing the same profiles. Try going through your phones app settings and clearing the cache data, then reboot your phone and see if that helps |

Yeah, I'm on a quest to convince the single girls of Britain they'd be better off (and safer) fucking strange guys in swingers clubs than going home with strange guys from regular night clubs. Think many of them have cottoned on to my ulterior motive though. |

I’ve just signed up to bumble. I’m confused as I’ve 6 matches but can’t see who they are without paying £35 (I think) is this a subscription only? I don’t mind paying but just don’t understand how it works
You can’t see them until you both match. It’s a free site unless you want the extra privileges. "

Getting the hang of it now. Had 3 messages two of which are asking what I’m looking for! So I’ve replied that it’s a dating site and my profile clearly states looking to date, they both said that they use it for sex only  |

Tinder is pants for me too. A match is rare. I did meet (and shag) a girl from there a little while back but usually it's just crap. I'll swipe on everyone just to see if I get a match and almost always nothing! Lol. I always thought it was broken or something. Bumble is a little better. |

It's the nature of online 'dating' sites folk use them for many different purposes .At least on there you control who you chat to, no f a f messages |
