What do you really think of big long ones?

We thought our profile was long but we’ve encountered some real epics over the last few days. We know that size and length divides opinion on here, what do you think when you see a long profile. Does it engage you to read on or does it put you off and make you look elsewhere?

I can't be bothered with the long ones. I've found they tend to be a bit negative and whiney.

I was told size doesn't matter

But when you loose interest halfway through it can't be good.

I thought this was another pointless post about willie size but whilst we are on the subject of long boring profiles I don’t mind reading them some are funny and you can nick a few ideas but what gets my goat is the stupid disclaimer bits people put on

Normally find the long one start off ok. But then a quick scroll down and you see the 101 point check list. At that point it's carry on searching for me.

.

They don't put me off. Occasionally they do when it's just a dreary list of all the things they dislike, they are not, they won't do. Most of the time I get a bit bored of reading them and begin to think of ways I could make them slightly shorter.

I can’t do long profiles I think a good in between is best.

I think mine is in between!

I like detail but kept quite short so it doesn’t seem tiresome to read.

It all depends how well written they are, often they could be more succinct but they're still usually more insightful that most.
