Lazy/ badly written profiles.
Messages with bad spelling.
Messages with text speak.
Someone who used long words to try and give off the impression of being educated but then they let themselves down by missing out joining words which means the entire message just sounds robotic.
I can’t be dealing with lazy writing. |

Lazy profiles i agree are annoying, especially ones with just a word or sentence.
Grammar, and sentence structure and spelling doesnt bother me too much as predictive text or dyslexia can account for that and chatting to someone can clear that up. |

People who write phrases like;

I'm not sure what to say here. I'm very dyslexic and spend a lot of time trying to put together my profile and write nice messages. But I miss out words and make mistakes all the time and it's not for lack of effort or lack of brains. Its a struggle every day.
I'm not one for wearing my disability on my chest. So I just ask that you bear people like me in mind. I can't help the things you dislike. |

Not annoying, more disappointing - a lost opportunity.
I like a profile that is not only clear about any red lines, but also gives an insight into what makes the poster tick.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest OP - I either just move onto another profile or if there's enough in the profile concerned to interest me, accept that we can't all be perfect, either way it's certainly not that big a deal to "annoy" me.
Just out of interest, I presume the kind of profile that doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're" is the kind of thing you mean?  |

Avoiding the politics... I get chatting to some guys (some, insert obligatory not all men here), and they talk down to me. I had one who was impressed that I could read.  I try not to judge too hard, because mistakes happen and, as noted, there are disability issues at play. I don't want to discriminate. But if someone consistently mistakes a possessive and a contraction, for example, and then condescends to me based on my gender... that pisses me off. (I don't think knowledge or intelligence should be adversarial, but in these instances I'll make exceptions. I win them myself) |

Boy oh boy swinging has changed....
Gone are the days , when people just looked at your pics and interests. Then decided to meet you...
Now people are worried about punctuation and grammatical errors on profiles and messages....
I have met many people from Eastern Europe and South America... English was not their first language and if I excluded them because of punctuation and grammatical errors. I would not have had some great nights... |

Somebody on my Facebook recently wrote a very long status with no full stops at all. I mentioned a few full stops would have been nice and her friends laid into me telling me how dare I criticise! |

I look for compatibility so we can have a conversation before and after (sometimes during) fun. And to be honest, the ones I struggle with most speak English as a native language and don't have/ disclose any disabilities. |

It doesn't really bother me but I do kind of use what and how they write in forming an opinion of them. Those with poor grammar and spelling are more forgivable than the ones using txt talk or completely changing word to be all 'gangsta' by using words like wot, dey, dem, gawjus, wuu2', pawg and the likes I tend think I'd have no common ground with and wouldn't make any effort to get to know them. |

Women are the worst for lazy profiles. You just need to check the new women in the search area to see.
Which is a paradox as most women like to talk the hind legs off a donkey, and yes there are ladies profiles like that too. M&L |
