The 'peegasm' is being hailed but can have disastrous effects.
A toilet trend that women have seen women holding their pee in so that they 'enjoy' shivers, has been slammed by health experts for being very dangerous.
The 'peegasm' has seen women across the UK trying to have "mini orgasms from peeing after holding it in", achieving what is being called 'p**s shivers'.
The Mirror has reported about a post on Reddit , in which a concerned boyfriend posed a question about whether it was safe.
He wrote: "My girlfriend recently told me if she's had to hold her pee in for a while, when she actually goes to pee, she often has orgasms that she feels all the way up her spine to her head .
"If she does 'reverse kegels' while peeing, they're even more likely to happen."
One woman then responded: "I call them the p**s shivers because they’re not quite orgasmic in my opinion but close enough."
Another said: "I get something similar, but it’s not exactly an orgasm, just a really, really pleasurable feeling. I can do it by letting go for a split second and holding it in.
"It feels so good that I start tearing up. Then, when I finally do go pee, I get these delicious full body shivers."
But experts have warned against women doing this. Dr Clare Morrison, GP at MedExpress , told Cosmopolitan : "Holding on to urine could lead to urinary infections and even kidney damage.
"The reason some women achieve orgasms this way is because the full bladder sensation stimulates nerves in the pelvis, leading to arousal.
"However, I’m sure there are much more satisfactory ways of achieving orgasm!"

It does feel very nice. Great for your pelvic floor muscles too!
It's very similar to the sensation you feel when you squirt/gush (make of that what you will)
Not quite an orgasm but fucking lush all the same.
Can't say I do it regularly or that I would choose to do it if a toilet was available. |

"Holding" is very much a watersports kink all of it's own, and certainly not a new trend. I've spoken to many many women online who are into this over the years, and I've known a fair few personally as well. Some women pride themselves on holding "through the pain barrier", sometimes for up to 24 hours or more. Many swear by sex with a full bladder as an exquisite sensation!
While I like getting nice and full to provide the maximum golden shower potential for those ladies that like to receive, holding to extremes never sounded very healthy or fun to me, but then it's probably different for a guy. |
