Omfg that book and film has so much to answer for aaaaaaarrrrrggggghhhh
Yes I been part of swinging lifestyle for many many years in here and other sites, I have met various people with different kinks and ideas.
But omfg since that awful book and film all any (high majority of) women are after is mr friggin grey. Not all swingers do but a lot of new ppl to lifestyle or dipping toes in think it’s goin be like the book.
I was talking to a young lady who seemed fun and adventurous what she wanted to do when asked what she liked about ideas discussed she said oh it’s from.... the book,
Many profiles on fab ladies post want me grey
Ano loads blokes go on or try use it cos Jesus there are loads mr grey user names or seen reference to on page

Yeah I've read a few profiles that seem to think socials are a free meal ticket or even want guys to buy them stuff like their ticking of an Amazon wishlist. I laugh it off as it shows they can be easily influenced depending on the direction of the wind

OP most women on fab are very turned off by any reference to 50 shades of shite.
We have no interest in someone who just wants to beat the shit out us. We are knowledgeable about Bdsm and are only interested in those who are similar. "Dim doms" and Mr Grey wannabes are avoided as much as possible. |

Never read any of the books or warched the films, I get the impression they are a titilarion for bored housewives who like a bit more than a Mills & Boon but do not portray the true sense of a D/s relationship. I just think I actually know people who live this lifestyle why would I want to read a book |

Oh I am under no allusion most real swinging ladies or people into bdsm or other kinks would entertain the notion of the drivel
It was an observation about how a crap book in mainstream has influenced culture and probably brought people to fab. |

my best mates mrs read the books an made him watch the films, was so funny one night when was drinking he passed out an she started telling me about all she discovered cos book (she’s very prim and proper princess girl) when I showed her fab an real bdsm stuff she was shocked cos her vision was based on a book and so was changed.
Just crazy the influence it has had still today seen 2 new profile referring to it |

I went to see the first one with 5 friends. 2 of them thought it was pure porn...another 2 were engrossed with the love story and my other pal said this is shite I done more than that last night lol I just laughed and said nothing but it was good to see how different people's perception of it. I read the books years before they were popular and was surprised how much hype it got x |
