There and to the left a bit |
I'm biased as a Spurs fan but Kieran Trippier - only got his first cap last year but has cemented his place in the team wi th his performances throughout - am actually worried now that other teams may come in for him |

"Trippier,he was very good at burnley and even better at spurs and hes a bury lad"
It's hard to tell. England didn't ever look very dangerous from open play in any of the knock out games. He's no David Beckham, yet. |

"Maguire watched him as a youngster at the blades always tries his best well done Harry UTB
"
He reminds me of a good old solid defender from back in the day, brilliant player |

I heard and interview with him and he said as much himself. But he's got a good attitude and he'll be at peak age next world cup. |

my own little sanctuary |
It’s a tough one. But I’d have to say trippier, he was making crazy runs along with great coverage and a hell of a lot of chances created. Pickford was phenomenal at co-ordinating the defence and his confidence was also brilliant to see, just got stuck straight in. |

"My vote goes to Harry Maguire. Casual fans didn't know his name before the world cup. They do now. Absolute boss this world cup.
Runner up, Jordan Pickford. "
I would have to agree with this. Definitely the most consistent. I then have to choose Pickford in close 2nd |

"None of them. They lost, as usual. All failures."
If they had won, they would all have been heroes no doubt?
Get a grip man! We were the youngest squad , and you should get behind the team and the Manager instead of making innocuous comments like that ffs
We did our nation proud |

"Maguire or Pickford."
Both stood up and are able to step off the plane with their heads held high, as are the rest of anyone that played on Russian soil. There's no disgrace in getting to the semis with such a young squad.
The future is bright...

"Pickford, Maguire and Trippier in that order"
I would agree with those three but not in any order. In different ways they were equally as good as each other.
The rest of the team were pretty good as well. |

Trippier really impressed me. Pickford will be our keeper for years and Maguire will be our main stay defender.
For the first time in years I've seen England playing as a team, all in it together and playing for the country and the fans. Huge credit to Southgate for what he's done. |

Maguire for me. Got a good player there. One of the few I think worthy of making a team of the tournament, same with Pickford but that's about it. |

Southgate class act
Maguire always been decent but wow what a tournament
Pickford, not the greatest season but stepped up several levels, respect from a Kloppite
Trippier outstanding
Hendo worked his bollox off, cajoled bullied pushed and pulled everyone around better than I have seen in a red shirt. Often on his own while the rest attacked
Every player made mistakes and had outstanding contributions.
Main thing is squad and staff were one team not club cliques. BRAVO |
