Yesterday my self and my daughter had to make that heart wrenching decision to have our beloved 14 year old jack russell girlie to sleep. She had a few health problems she was being treated for and still enjoying life....as much as possible , she was going deaf and couldn't see that well ... had a few "funny turns "but yesterday she had 3 seizures and we knew that something else was happening in her little body ....and we couldnt watch her suffer any more.
So just for me today ... could you give your dog a hug ,a kiss
And if you have already ... an extra one....because they are oh so special .

Big hugs to you. The kindest thing to do to help them on their journey.
My dog is nearly 12. I don't have children, so she's my beautiful baby. I feel for you xx |

Sending lots of love to you. They really are a member of the family and it can be so hard to make that bravest of decisions for them.
If you struggle feel free to get in touch and I can help you with some pet bereavement links x |

I'm sorry for your loss... My bro and his wife lost their 17yr old blue jack Russell and within a month lost their beautiful 12 yr old pussycat too....both heartbroken as they can't have kids and they were their babies... If only people with severe illness etc were treated as well as animals.....we hate to watch an animal suffer in pain and distress but a human being in the same position doesn't have that right to a dignified end.... |

I feel your pain OP, I've had 3 generations of Border Collies, and it didn't get any easier each time one of them went to The Great Kennel In The Sky
I still have many happy memories of them though |

Sorry for your loss sending big
furbaby hugs to and your daughter x
I never knew how much love you could get from a furbaby
My gorgeous doggy Blue is 3 now but had a huge struggle for the 1st 10months of his life !
( 10 thousand pounds treatment!
Thank god for insurance )
Little did I know that he came from a bad breeder ( probably puppy farm )
3 years on the RSPCA have managed to get the breeder charged and is at court on trial next month
Fur babies are so precious give them all the love that they deserve for their loyalty x
God bless your furbaby xxx |

Awe bless, I’m sorry to read of your sad news.... it’s a heart wrenching decision to make.....
I have a westie boy, he was 17 last March. He’s almost blind, deaf and struggles sometimes and I know each day with him is a blessing... but he’s loved A LOT ...... |

A heartbreaking decision to make, she’s now free of any suffering and running pain free over rainbow bridge.
Have hugged my 2 rescue pups most of the day, they’re very special to me, as was your dear little Jack Russell.
