You know this is a ruddy hard thread to kill off! I tried so bloody hard! I shot it, rang its neck, knifed it, hanged it, poisoned it, drowned it, and it’s still going! It’s dead but it won’t lie down! Or maybe it’s just immortal? A kind of teflon-coated thread, a Rasputinic thread, yes that’s it! I shall rename this thread the Thread of Rasputin out of respect to the number of attempts it has survived to kill it off from so many of us!
