don't get discouraged or disheartened, it happens to people all the time.
It's not a case of being boring, just some threads take time to pick up and some threads die on their arses. |

There's many a time I've made a point and it has been overlooked, then when someone else says almost exactly the same thing later on in the thread, people are quoting their post and giving it the thumbs up   |

If there's just being this and the fantasy thread, then sorry what's to moan about? Bet most people have had no responses at all to threads, numerous in my case, you just keep plodding along. |

Um, I had a wee look at your green arrow. Not extensively, but a good few threads. You seem to delete about half of the things you post, so it’s hard for people to reply to those. When posting in other people’s threads, you’ve got about a 50% reply rate, which isn’t bad going for an infrequent poster with no profile pic. Looks like you’ve got a 100% reply rate to threads you post.
The more you post, the more people will reply. |

When posting in other people’s threads, you’ve got about a 50% reply rate, which isn’t bad going for an infrequent poster with no profile pic. Looks like you’ve got a 100% reply rate to threads you post.
The more you post, the more people will reply."

Nahhhhhhhh.
In the past I've started 11 threads that had zero posts.
I know this because I keep track of them on an Excel spreadsheet and use Venn diagrams to find connections.

Hi op!
Firstly - all of us (well - most of us!) frequently have posts ignored!
Sometimes I spend ages writing what I consider to be a genius post - only for it to be totally overlooked/ignored! It can be disheartening, but that’s the forums for you! Unless you’re one of the ‘forum famous’ then it’s just a fairly level playing field!
That being said, I don’t think it helps that your avatar is a silhouette and you have no public pics. It’s not about looks - it’s about being distinguishable from others - and a silhouette doesn’t help! If you’re wanting to stay on here to converse, debate etc etc then I’d suggest you take a profile image. It dousnt have to be explicit or sexy - it’s not about looks in any way - just something that people can see and identify you with your profile name!
This may just be my opinion - but personally I’m very visual - and a lot of other people are too! I wouldn’t really have a conversation with a silhouette! |

I think this is a normal occurrence in all honesty. There are so many new threads that get posted, it's easy for some to get overlooked. Try not to let it affect you wanting to post. Some will get replies, some won't  |

I think everyone feels the same at times. Threads are hit or miss no matter who you are, it depends on who is around at the time and if they're interested.
Also we all see other people being replied to and quoted and flirted with because at that time it's not us, we fail to notice the 100 times that poster has been the one being ignored. |

I'd probably only get 1 ir 2 replies in 50 posts and miss most so when I do see it and reply it's rather irrelevant.
Don't worry too much. You do seem quite articulate and I've noticed many won't get into discussion if you are. Just keep posting if you think it's worth saying - only 5 to 6%of fab users use the forums but far more read with interest. I've had a lot more private messages from non forum users that responses on them. |

Just keep plugging away, sometimes no one replies to us and then others we get loads, if you see a thread that you are interested in just post away, sure you might get over looked but then you might not, I think it’s also the amount the person posts too, if you ‘get your name out there’ it’s bit like advertising the more you do it, the more notice people take of you.

It takes a lot of regular posting to become really well known on the forums. I've been here for years and still get overlooked at times. It's just how it goes. Not something to take offence at or worry about. |

I don't post on here simply to get replies, I just like to add my two penneth worth in to the mix and I enjoy reading the banter amongst people. If people do reply then that's good but my no means would I ever let it bother me if people didn't.

She shared her frustrations and had a solution. Many on here share their frustrations with no intention of wanting or having a solution.
Some just maje comments that are unhelpful and just purely digs looking a stirring up things. Green arrows are great. |

Sometimes I find you just get blocked for trying to be nice and helpful too. There seens to be some who just don't want to be engaged with in any normal way too. |
