That’s the thing about FPF and one of the reasons I rarely took part in a previous life on here.
While I get it that nobody has to respond, surely it’s a little against the *spirit* of the thread to enthusiastically say ‘I’m in’ but then not reciprocate when someone sends theirs?
I understand there’s no obligation but it’s more the principle really, level playing field and all that.
I used to speak to a lady who told me she never sent hers out but used to keep her own personal library of face pics of the men of Fab who enthusiastically filled her inbox every Friday  so any newbs our three be aware that you should only send yours out if you’re prepared NOT to get one back!  |

I don't send back but I certainly don't keep a stash of pics. That's horrible.

The hole pont of fpf at the start was to put names to faces and was if your in your send and pic back if you received one if u wasn't willing to do that you didn't play. Over time it seems to of changed and People don't always send back. (spoil sports ) but it is what it is

The rules have always been that it's not obligatory to reciprocate, and sending a face pic doesn't entitle you to any sort of reply. Hassling the lady is unlikely to get you anything other than a place on her block list

I fully understand the site rules. It’s a bit different when somebody actively seeks photographs in a thread like this. And if you think one polite message constitutes ‘hassling’, you don’t have a particularly good grasp of the English language or human behaviour. Get a grip.

Good grief if someone thinks that getting one message reply is 'hassling' them, the world is a fucked up place!! 
I had a few people replying to me asking for a pic even though I'd said on the thread that I wouldn't be sending one. I replied politely and then so did they. Like a civilised human being.
Mr Oatcake didn't do anything wrong and he wasn't the only person to ask for a pic in return. |

I’ve noticed you often enter into the spirit of things, often by questioning a poster’s intelligence or lack of grammar. That’s a great way of entering into the spirit of things. |

Blimey!! I think a fresh supply of chill pills is needed all round - I thought my OP was perfectly clear that recipients of faces "may" reply with theirs - doesn't mean they are obliged to

"The rules have always been that it's not obligatory to reciprocate, and sending a face pic doesn't entitle you to any sort of reply. Hassling the lady is unlikely to get you anything other than a place on her block list
1) The spirit of the thread is pretty clear. If you’re not going to reciprocate, make it clear that that’s the case.
2) That’s a fair assumption you’ve leapt to there. One message asking if I’m getting a face pic in return is not ‘hassling’, and I’d rather you didn’t try and suggest I hassle anyone by PM when you are not in possession of the facts.
Read the site FAQS re a non-reply. You chased and questioned her decision not to respond, I'd class that as hassling.

I’ve only been pottering around on the forums a short while, but I must admit I thought that if someone posts that “they’re in” they are saying they are happy to send a pic if they receive one? I thought that was kinda the whole point?
If people don’t want to send pics, that’s entirely fine, but surely if that’s the case just don’t join in?
I know no-one should ever be under any real obligation, but surely that’s the spirit of the whole thing? |

If you are going to play this you might need to drop your filters so people can mail you as people keep asking for others to unblock them will end up with a ban

That's interesting. I was under the impression that you can't ask a personal block to be removed (as that person had intentionally blocked you), but letting someone know they had their filters on still was ok. |

I wouldn’t class Mr Oatcake asking for a face pic in return as hassle.
And also I was under the impression that if you were sent a pic, then the expectation was that you sent one back. It seems only fair, otherwise it just feels a bit ‘pic-collector’, and I’m not so keen on that. |
