Virtue? Is it?

I’ve recently been told I’m not very patient!!

Do you mind waiting for something if you know it’s going to be amazing??

No. I’m a ‘strike while the Orión is hot’ / life is too short type of guy.

I can be patient, but why? Why wait if you don’t have to?

Somewhere In The Ether…

I waited about half an hour more than normal for my train yesterday.

To be honest, I didn’t find the resulting experience of sitting on board (eventually) to be in any way elevated as a result. It was still very much shit in fact

The purpose for patient is the anticipation of a reward, what if there is no reward at the end?

patient needs goal(s)

Depends how long the wait is and what the event is. If it's a concert it's ok, other stuff I can be excited about then if the wait is more than a few days I can become interested in something else and then I can't be arsed.

Some things are worth waiting for...some people are worth waiting for.

Sometimes the anticipation makes for it to be more exciting too.

And like you say if you enjoyed it before, then you already know what lies ahead.

But at the same time, sometimes going off and doing something else first may make you realise that it would have been better to wait...but then again, it could be better than what you were waiting for....

I've been told that I have the patience of a saint. Well, that's when it comes to work and raising children.

I have zero patience when it comes to getting something I want though.. much to Adams dismay.

That’s as clear as mud!!!!

In my humble opinion yes trying new things can lead to better but at the same time do you risk losing what you could have had?? I’ve mostly found if you have experienced something really good... then why waste that!!!?

I totally agree with the anctipation... build up.. tension all leads to more excitement.... but I also believe if you want something and it’s really good then go for it.... you need to grab it and enjoy while you can!!!!

I don’t see why not... I think things can be over complicated sometimes... yes life’s messy and a pain but everyone has things going on..and it’s easy to talk yourself out of anything at times.... but sometimes I think why can’t it be that simple??

I can wait for a man if I know, or think, he's worth waiting for.

I'm impatient where doing crafts and such are concerned. I like to get things finished.

My Ice Castle! South Wales

Somethings I can be very patient for. I waited over 3 years for a weekend with a guy off here and never thought it would happen but it did. Yes it was worth the wait and then some.

Other things I'm not very patient with. Like waiting in queues or For food

Well, if you did go off and the experience was better then it’s a win/win situation. If it wasn’t then you’ve still got the good thing to come and you can then confirm it was worth waiting for...

Unless you are a virgin and you are waiting for the right man....in which case, I would wait but you’d probably not be on this site either

You shouldn’t give promises to anyone if you don’t really mean it .

I take a promise very serious and not as a joke
