a proper date

I recently tried to do the 'wait til the 3rd date' thing. We went on two nice, but not amazing dates and I managed to not let slip any mention of toys, threesomes etc. But I also spent a lot of time worrying about sex, why hadn't he tried it on, what if when it came to it the sex was rubbish or even what if he didn't believe in sex before marriage or something similar! Anyway, we had a third date planned and then I got ghosted, so I guess I'll never know. Maybe he thought I was too innocent!  |

I am like this at the moment. It's been 10 months since my last date (was with a fabber but after 2 3 dates there was no spark).
My last date date was 3 yrs ago with a guy from POF. That lasted 3 months til I ended it with him.

My second meet with someone was more of a date than a meet. We had nearly 24 hours together, and went out for dinner and had a great time. It was only the second time we’d met and was really pretty special.
Considering I mostly joined out of curiosity, I’d say I was very lucky indeed to cross paths with someone so great. The combination of the sex side of Fab, and really clicking with someone you meet turns out to be all kinds of amazing. |

I had one three weeks ago from here. We got on like a house on fire, he was single and I met him again, all very good. Then he disappeared for two weeks, met him again and he’s disappeared for another week to date. His off/off GF was apparantly a bit on/off and now I’m kinda guessing, that his GF is a bit ON and he didn’t have the balls to say, weirdo. |

I've met a lady from here that I pop round for coffee with, and just hang out with. We go to the pub and when she was wasn't well I just grabbed a pizza and went round to keep her company for the evening.

I'm more than happy to date a woman off here. To wine and dine her and talk about philosophy and maybe even end the first date with only an inviting kiss. But she'd need to make it clear she wanted a vanilla date as, by default, I assume women go on Fab socials looking for a night of fun and flirting and, as such, tend to take the lead more into naughty waters than I would on a conventional date. |

Not sure what a "proper date" is and wonder about the implicit expectations of that description.
So spending time with someone I care for laughing talking walking on beaches through fields playing with dogs sharing thoughts dreams secrets even just sitting quietly somewhere in perfect peace and watching the world go by. Knowing that you can both talk about anything and neither will break the others trust that your secrets are safe with another that no matter if it's raining or the sun is shining all the silliness of the world doesn't matter at least for the time you spend together they are the place you want to be and to return to time after time.
Not a meet probably not even a date just a connection that makes two people's worlds a happier place.
