Curious to see how dedicated some of you are to the Fab way of life... So what's the furthest you've travelled for a fab event or meet? Was it worth it? |

A couple of hours each way, once or twice a month depending on our availability. I always travelled to her because she liked playing at her home. Totally worth it... |

Hull |
Went to Edinburgh on a train the day of a strike. Took me ten hours to get there. Stayed overnight in the hotel my friend was staying at with work and he drove us back the next morning. This was for someone who actually lives about an hour away from me. It was worth it in the end though. |

"Alicante... and would definitely go again x
How did you find someone that far away? Or is it their second home? "
He lives there and I was visiting the area with friends the first time and snuck off for an afternoon. Have since made the effort to go out alone. |

"I went to London, not sure how many miles but got stood up which is why I don't travel very far anymore."
Come up north....we don't let you down and I've got a few Peter pan pills to fit the criteria |

I’ve gone north as far as Edinburgh and south as far as Bedfordshire! Enjoyed both of them! |

I've done round trips of 150 miles driving in about 4 hours, and more for an overnight.
Done further by train and will happily do it all again for the right people. |

Almost a year ago I convinced Cute to attend the first Lounge social which means he had to travel from Peterborough to Manchester for a weekend, and since then Liverpool-Peterborough whenever it's been possible. Soon we are moving together, so no more travelling and being separated for weeks

I’ve travelled almost 200 miles each was a couple of times - but both times it involved a club or social event as well as tearing the clothes off a lovely fellow forumite!
Next weekend I’m off to Newcastle to combine a group social with (I hope) mind blowing sex! It’s my idea of a perfect meet/weekend! |

Durham |
We often attend Attic in Derby. We also went from Durham to Townhouse the other week. It's great travelling around. Can't think of anything worse than staying local and going to the same place week after week. Adventure is living in our opinion |

Lincoln to Glasgow only for the snow to ruin it all. To be fair i was due in Glasgow on business but had arranged a meet with a lovely lady up there. Then the snow hit and the meet never happened. |

I this country the furthest we’ve gone is about 90 minutes each way to Townhouse (totally worth it!) but we’ve also been on two holidays to Gran Canaria decided on an arranged because of the scene out there, we did also meet a couple on the west coast of America who were from Scotland but we were going there anyway |

One raining night I drove from Fareham to Farnham. Ok not that far as the crow flies, but weather, traffic, roadworks it seemed long.
Met a posh couple in a bar for a social. Seemed to go ok though he was amused at my bisexuality and she was a bit dim but thought herself smart.
End of evening she seemed to go cold and I was informed next day on here that it was a no go.
I wasn't disappointed but my god that dreary journey has stayed with me. |

"450 mile round trip!
3hrs there, 7½ on way back.
Bloody motorways! "
Updating on last year's comment
Now just under a 700 mile round trip - regularly.
I'm seriously considering moving to Blackpool, it would be cheaper

Oxford to Weston Super Mare had been chatting for a while so knew they were genuine, otherwise not more than 30 mins drive as have been let down too many times driving out for no reason |
