In this day and age, im surprised anyone can genuinely believe this! (Not saying you guys are though!) I could understand people pre-space age saying it, but with all the images from space clearly showing the Earth being round, surely any question of this has now been dis-proven? There may be some truth to the optical illusion bit, but the Earth is definitely not flat -- well not unless all the images we have seen from space have all been fabricated anyway! |

That’s what they believe. According to them (flat earth) we never see the planet from space and all we see from nasa is fake. One guy genuinely said to me and he believes this aswell. How the film gods of Egypt show the earth is correct. And according to him something is up there pulling the sun around the sky. This was a 38 year old man  |

Yes loool I watched it live he went up he got to the stratosphere but didn’t leave the atmosphere. Lol he crash landed and had to be rushed to hospital was in a coma for 2 days but he didn’t see enough he said lol |

Because SCIENCE is a method of collecting data with as little ambiguity as possible ! That's it that is science , scientific method , for example , double blind studies , control parameters , replication and prediction are some some of the vast number of logic tools used in scientific method
Now where confusion lies is where humans pretend to practice Science and where humans try to make sense of what the scientific data has told them . This is then further confounded by the idiot media who then go on in a Chinese whispers style , to simplify and distort what may originally have be an articulate clear and insightful piece of science into bastardised pop science
Science is simply a method to gain meaningful relative framed data
It is absolutely true that some scientists , journalists , random people after reading scientific data make wild and contrasting interpretations but usually I find this is when a scientific study was either not very scientific in it's method , or the data returned simply could not give a clear direction .
Also vanity scientists who write or go on tv and spout a deluge of unfounded supposition and poor logic are wrongly associated with science

Err not quite mate, he only got 2000ft up, the stratosphere is much higher than that, he did sort of crash land, the chute's deployed but it can down a little too fast and it was a little damaged, the guy hurt his back, he wasn't in a coma for two days, not unless you can give an interview from the back of an ambulance whilst in a coma that is...
Got to hand it to the guy though.. 2000ft in a STEAM powered HOME built rocket is still pretty impressive, even if the guy is as mad as a box of frogs. |

Did none of your parents ever teach you to not just blindly believe everything youre told by people and to go do your own research into stuff if you want the real truth on matters? If we just believe what the government puppets tell us then everyone would still believe that the great pyramid was a tomb made for a pharao to be rested in. Lol. An easy way to figure it out is take the distance the scientists say is around the equator then by drawing a circle and reducing the measurement scale to fit. Then get a straight edge like a ruler and see how much you can measure being flat of the circle and put that into miles. Then go somewhere on the earth with double those miles and a telescope and see if you can still see the ground at that distance. Fyi. People already claim its 6miles that you should see some drop. Cant remember how many inches. Anyway, id say go to some of the salt flats that they do the land speed records on for the best distance views. Please come back and tell me your findings. |

I believe it when there's mandatory forced investment from them into their own satellite and they provide evidence for their claims.

On a clear day standing on level ground you can see about 3.7 miles depending on the height of your eyes.
On the salt flats due to heat haze from reflected sunlight it's hard to see an object the size off a car more than half a mile away. Rubbish distance views...
When I stand on the west coast of England, I can't see the lights of Manhattan, However we are capable of seeing spherical stars x trillion miles away so the fault is not with our eyes. |

As far as know a lot of it comes apparently from the bible the firmament and the dome etc seen a few on u tube saying the cameras that get sent up in ballons hit the dome or its a fish eye lens to make the earth curve and as a few have said nasa has all this technology to keep it all a secret the moons a hologram and apparently antartica is the ice wall at the edge of the earth |

The more I hear about flat earth theory the more I want to go for it. Seems to wind people right up. I told my son the other day that the earth must be flat as spirit levels are flat and if the earth was round then surely a spirit level must be curved. He went almost apoplectic explaining how the world is round. Haven't had such a fun chat with him for ages. I think the secret is in keeping a perfectly straight face. |

Been reading about this stuff they have some credible ideas, one is that all the pictures of the earth from space have actually been computer generated by various satellite images
Also that the earth is much larger than we know with many other lands outside of the Great Wall of ice

No. I believe this is a distraction that has been started to obfuscate that recently too many people are starting to realise certain real issues are really a pack of lies.
So flat earth is thrown in and made out to be the same, I.e. believing 9/11, 7/7, possible Moon landing/NASA hoax, that these things are not as has been reported, is ludicrous and equal to believing in a flat earth. Have to laugh really as it seems a pretty desperate measure.
I've had suspicions about 9/11 for about a decade, when I learned about building 7 amongst a couple other things, but have only looked into 7/7 and the moon landing after stumbling across a Madeleine McCann documentary a few months ago, completely by accident!
Unlike the other topics, flat earth doesn't have credible evidence and doesn't stack up. Imo its only come about to muddy the picture and try to throw people off the scent.

The 3 guys come across as skewed in their reasoning and do a disservice to others who believe for example 911 was not as reported, a position which too many rational and qualified people take.
A laser over a 40 mile lake doesn't cut it as conclusive proof.
I'm sure the moon has been documented to have been around over many centuries, which only further stretches credibility of the suggestion of it being a hologram.
Would be interested to know why a flat earth would be covered up?
P.s. I just figured out why flat earthers are (unfairly IMO) lumped in with moon landing doubters. Obviously coz by definition they wouldn't believe in a moon landing if there's no real moon, yep I'm slow. |

A laser over a 40 mile lake doesn't cut it as conclusive proof.
I'm sure the moon has been documented to have been around over many centuries, which only further stretches credibility of the suggestion of it being a hologram.
Would be interested to know why a flat earth would be covered up?
P.s. I just figured out why flat earthers are (unfairly IMO) lumped in with moon landing doubters. Obviously coz by definition they wouldn't believe in a moon landing if there's no real moon, yep I'm slow.

The speed of dark varies so its hard to measure. It is mostly equal to the speed of light, but authors of horror stories have it creaping in from the corners in a slow and scary way, or plunging rooms into inky blackness intantaniously forcing out the light so it may be faster |

Nope can't prove the earth isn't flat from personal research, but water drops are spherical in natural form. Many objects are available on Google etc. From atoms to planets showing the spherical shape exists everywhere. And orbit appears to be a natural state of things we can see. From electrons to planets.
As for the twin towers the planes came from outside not inside! |

Yes, along with a lot of others who did O'level physics and lived in the area. It's quite a simple calculation really. You just need a fixed point a known distance from the target (south tower in this case) "A" a known height "B" and a known reference point on the second target (the north tower. Measure the know vertical of the target and compare it with the reference point then measure the distance either side of the reference point. This will not give you the physical distance but will give you the angle the target tower in relation to the reference point and you can work out the curvature of the earth at that point. |

Ok mentioned this earlier but will say it again just for you.
Simple experiment you or anyone can do.
Stand on the west coast of England north or south of Ireland at about 3am when it's good and dark. It will be late evening in New York, if you like you can phone someone there to confirm it.
If the earth is flat, you should see the millions of candle power of light emitted from New York as it's about 3000 miles away.
Now look up, you will see lots of stars in the sky, they are much more than 3000 miles away. But not affected by the shape of the globe.
Also while standing there thinking about the results of the experiment you have just done, also think if the earth is flat, what is it standing on? |

That's OK I don't think the powers that be (Rothschild's, Kissinger, Rockefeller, Murdoch and all their other friends) are competent enough to be causing every single thing. Have you ever seen footage of jets being crashed at high speed into solid blocks of concrete, they just atomise on impact due to the velocity. Tiny fragment of the 9/11 planes crashed through the far side of the buildings. The building were huge and dwarfed the planes, but they were big planes and spanned about 5 floors on impact, the building ms were constructed of a steel frame so these steel frames would shred the planes light weight body into tiny bits. Did you see the documentary about the tiny bone fragments that are found on another buildings roof many years later, those fragments were from many different people and were ejected out of the twin towers building with other debris. The people on board were atomised too. |

The building were huge and dwarfed the planes, but they were big planes and spanned about 5 floors on impact, the building ms were constructed of a steel frame so these steel frames would shred the planes light weight body into tiny bits. Did you see the documentary about the tiny bone fragments that are found on another buildings roof many years later, those fragments were from many different people and were ejected out of the twin towers building with other debris. The people on board were atomised too. "
Thanks for that reply. No I didn't know about that. A couple of points also spring to mind: You are choosing from a documentary. But isn't this what gets a negative response when someone gets information from a documentary where the conclusion is different.
Also you say about the people being atomised. Are you ok that an intact passport was found at the scene, and that of all the passengers it could have belonged to, it just so happened to belong to one of the terrorists?
Is it really a sign of insanity or obsession if someone thought that a bit of a stretch? I'd say it's a sign of a decently sound mind.

I watched the Richard D Hall documentary on the Mcanns all 4 hrs no matter what you believe happened. There are certainly some very interesting questions raised that they and others have refused and spent millions on blocking I.E the Portuguese Police chiefs book about his investigation.

I saw this too, this is the one I stumbled across in February totally by chance. It was amazing to realise I knew so little about the case.
Those documentaries are fantastic, the interview with statement analyst Peter Hyatt being my favourite, and an absolute must watch IMO. I'm surprised he hasn't had any trouble from them AFAIK. The McCann's prefer to spend their time aggressively shutting down anyone who opposes them, rather than do what true missing child parents would do. |

I'm actually careful not to say too much about Kate and Gerry and co, because I don't want to end up dead like Brenda Leyland, who was posting the same kind of stuff I am, on twitter.
There was a huge media campaign portraying her as a cruel online troll, and the public believed it... I'm sad to say I basically did too. Gerry said he wants an example to be made of these people. She was found dead after fleeing her home when Martin Brunt of sky news confronted her saying the police want to talk to you. She fled for her life understanding what was really going on, but was found dead in a hotel room, the verdict being suicide apparently.
This is what can happen to people who speak too loudly. I should be safe on fabswingers, though I am very aware all browsing data is logged.
Come to think of it, Kate, Gerry and friends are thought to possibly be swingers, as was mentioned in the documentary - I wonder if they're on here lol! |
