Only a cpl or so days ago a female member from this site e-mailed me and asked if i wanted to attend a social in leeds this friday night(21st) i mailed her back as i know and have known her for a long time and said we'd love to pop along and she gave me the location, time, and date...
the day after she mailed me again saying sorry stella u cant come as its a SH social and ur not a member of SH and as there will be a certain amount of SH ops at the social she would get in trouble from SH...what a load of BOLLOX...its her social and not SH social and if only SH members are allowed to go why mail members of FAB asking if they wanted to go...i call it 2 things..
1/. room politics...
2/. room clique...
its very clear to our friends and us we werent wanted by certain members of SH and therefore not allowed to go. i say stuff em...stella and tony..xxx |

i think ive got my own back though and quite well if i say so myself, the e-mail she sent me i pasted and sent to SH admin as we are members of that site and they mailed me back saying they have no control of socials or who goes to them as i knew anyway...lol |

its funny how things are when they are the other way round.
I have been dipping my toes in the water at SH recently and ended up inviting a couple I'd been chatting to on SH to a FAB social, and they coudnt have been made to feel more welcome by the fab folks.
No bullshit - no back biting - no inter-site politics - just like-minded people wanting to have fun with others like them - and I get the feeling my new friends left with a slightly fuller phone book and a few crossed off dates in their diary - and Know for certain they drove home smiling  |

there was a great social last year in Fife , organised by playncum..
it has SH folks and Fab peeps..
so its nonsense..
if advertised on both sites... the more the merrier ...
and most folks from SH are here now, cause it's free ..  |

LOL It's exactly the same at Eurekas, they have a lot of SH parties there and we have never had a problem.
We've even had had mini Fab meets in the middle of them; and lots of them are on here to!

We go to most of the socials here in South Wales, and have never seen any problems.
The last one we went to in Cardiff was a real blast, there were people from various sites there, as well as some swinging newbies who wernt on any sites, and Tobleton hit it on the head when he said that no-one was at all devisive, all were welcomed.
"We'll keep a welcome in the hillside" is a line from a well known welsh song in these parts, and it seems to hold very true!! |

Honestly, who cares... we would rather have fun with people who want to have fun, than get involved in all the politics.
