Just watched the last episode of this series. I'm so bored of it now. Just feels like it's getting the arse dragged out of it more than the zombies insides. Anyone else feeling the same? |

I gave up around that time too. Or could have been when they found Alexandra but after that, no thanks. I saw the one where Carl died though.

Got about halfway through the previous series and stopped watching. It's only ever the first and last episode that are interesting. It's viewership has massively dropped off so I imagine it probably o my has maybe one more season in it |

It is past boring now, but I’m sticking with it curious about how it will all end. IMDB has a 9th season listed but no info and no first airing dates either. I’ll keep watching but they do need to put it out it’s misery. |

I gave up after season four; The whole show just seems to draaaaggggg from one depressing storyline to the next (with a few zombies thrown in here and there).
Every now and then a major character is killed off for some shock value and then, rather than the bad guys getting their just deserts for their crimes, Rick decides on clemency.
To be fair, for the most part the series is only mirroring the comics upon which it is based in this regards but Christ! - It sure makes for non rewarding viewing!  |

I agree, it's gone totally stale and I am seriously thinking of not going back if their is a season 9. As for fear the walking dead I just thought that was awful with such bad acting and I wanted the main characters to be eaten so I didn't have to hear them. Only watched two episodes and gave up. |

Its still good but its lost the wow factor.
I mean at the end of the day they are on a repeating cycle.
Move from A to B, meet new people, find safe place, try to fortify, meet 'anti hero/villan', fight, zombie hoard, things go to shit, cast kill off, group breaks, repeat.
They really need to explore the possibility of wiping out the cast, or of finding actual survivor civilisations to explore how really big groups try to rebuild, and how people deal will knowing that reanimation happens to everyone, so at somepoint everyone has to be 'put down'.
Fear the walking dead is better atm. Though i wish they spent more time exploring the initial break out phase. |

Only just started watching this on DVD. Only seen first 2 eps so far, not impressed. Hopefully it gets better. |
