Not everyone’s cup of tea

We all use this saying at one time or another. Sometimes I join in the fun threads of who’s hot or not, and I fancy you but often get overlooked for the younger/thinner/ sexier people. That’s ok as it’s just fun. But some people can get downhearted at being passed by. So this post is for those of us that aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but we are someone’s. Come and post let’s have tea, and cake x

I think if someone missed out in a thread and op has skipped passed them and replied too others I think should have a ban as in my opinion it's rude .All should be replied either fun or serious or even if its an emoji.

I'm sure I'm seen by some as weird, some as old and hairy, but then some see me as fun and there was that one occasion somebody actually said I was sexy.

The point is, this is a thread for me, I'm not everybody's cup of tea, but I won't change from the tea bag brewed in the cup that I am, to the China tea pot loose leaf Earl Grey that others might prefer.

I'll bring double chocolate chip cookes, Belgian shortbread, millionaire short cake, marble cake ( come up in another thread and now I really want some), Victoria sponge ( gotta love a bit of that), and the little chocolate corn flake ones - you know the ones you used to make as a kid at school

I just get annoyed at those threads that the entire point is meant to be answer the person directly above you but men will go like 10 messages up just to say hot to a woman. Also something known amongst us TVs on the forums is that we notice that a lot of the time our messages will be ignored on a lot of threads

I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea looks wise and most definitely personlaity but it's fine by me. Popularity has never been my holy grail and over the years most of the posters I respect have made it known that the respect is mutual which is more than enough for me

No, because it’s meant to be for everyone to come and just have tea, cake and a natter. Most of us are willing to talk to anyone and getting members of the opposite sex into bed isn’t always our first thought when starting up a conversation x

I'm definitely not everyone's cup of tea and I'm above most peoples age limits so get ignored often which is fine by me. I'm happy in my own little world where there's plenty of tea, cake, biscuits and other goodies. Always nice to be nice though so hello to everyone else on this thread.

Looks like we have hot drinks, cakes ( or not ) and now someone to serenade us.

I know it’s hard for single men to stand out on here. Join in some of the fun threads and get chatting to people. It really will help your Fab experience. And try and get to a social or club getting yourself known is the biggest barrier x

I love tea me, apart from the fruit and green teas, they’re very yukky.

Sometime this place makes you feel as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit but most of the time, it’s ok, as long as ya not a desperado looking for a quick fix of course

Bit off thread so sorry OP. I used to work in a real multi culti office in Luton. So phrases often needed explaining. I once said ‘let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water’. They were horrified.

Anway, an Indian colleague. A super lovely guy always used to say ‘it’s not a cup of my tea’, made me laugh but I find myself saying it now.

No, we’re all in the same boat (figuratively). The reasoning for this post is that while we’re not everyone’s cup of tea we are someone’s. And in the meantime it’s good to know we’re amongst friends x
