People from Hartlepool are called Monkey Hangers. During the Napoleonic war a French ship was wrecked off the coast and a monkey was found washed up on the beach. It was duly hung by the locals because they thought it was a Frenchman.

The Vikings were the first outsiders to colonise North America. Long before Christopher Columbus discove_ed the ‘New World’.
Speaking of Christopher Columbus, he never actually set foot on Northern America. He actually discove_ed the West Indies and only set foot there. |

Well its not part of southern Ireland cause that would he Cork Waterford etc... Its part of Ireland. Southern Ireland isn't a country. Its Ireland or as some would say the Republic of Ireland but its actually just Ireland. |

Goliath Bird Eating Spiders can get big.....I mean, REALLY bloody big! (A leg span as big as a dinner plate!) Despite their menacing appearance however, their bite, whilst excruciatingly painful, is seldom fatal to humans as their venom is comparative in potency to that of a bee sting which is great news.....unless you have an allergic reaction.....whereby your basically screwed |

Heard this a while ago.
There is a hotel in the US that sits over a state line. In one state it is leagle to engange in oral sex but in the neighbouring state it is illegal so guest are advised when booking rooms to request a certain side of the hotel if they intend to indulge oral sex.
People have apparently been arrested  for being on the wrong side and getting carried away allthough im not how they have proven it lol |
