My children. All the time.
My mum yesterday and will again tonight.
Almost to a very good friend on several occasions but didn't want to spoil things. Not gonna happen at all now!!! |

"When did you last say it and to who?
Should you be saying it more or do the people you love already know? "
My small humans today as I dropped them off at their mothers. I tell them and those closest to me all the time |

To myself this morning in the mirror.
Not in an egotistical way, but I start each day telling myself positive things, usually that I love myself and that I am worthy of wonderful things. Sets me up for a good day |

I also tell my kids every day this.
When it comes to others I think the word should said with feeling and really meant. Not just said for the hell of it. |

My husband. We say it at least once an hour when we’re together. We’re an extremely lovey dovey couple. Always have been. My parents, who I know love me, are not affectionate in the slightest, and neither are his - so I think that’s where it came from. |

My husband this morning as we said goodbye at the bus stop. When I look at him I find myself just blurting it out, like when I saw him at the end of the aisle when we got married, I couldn’t help myself, I love that man so much.
Also, I said it today to a couple of my residents as they make me laugh and I walk away going ‘oh I love you’ lol.

Recently? I've said it to the regular squeeze, my mum and the cats. The latter is normally accompanied with a proviso along the lines of 'I love you but looking cute is not going to make it teatime any sooner'. I'm pretty sure they understand. |

Ha ha I do this to our kitten too and usually say "it's a good job I love you" when he's being naughty.

Today, to my lovely fuzz I say it constantly, I have to or I'll explode with love!
Even random strangers have had an I love you if they make me feel like I might burst Not in a weird way, for example I met a customer, a 93 yr old lady with bright orange hair, an amazing trouser suit and a passion for life! She had bought herself a red sports car and was touring the country! Incredible! I couldn't help but say I love you, you're inspiring

Good question - months ago now, I don't say it to friend and we're a pretty reserved family so not to them either. They do know it though from my actions.
If I'm honest, before I left my husband, knowing I was going it felt wrong to say so I avoided saying it for a good while - me too was the best I could do as I didn't want to lie. |

I come from a family where no one says it or hugs each other if they can possibly help it!
When I went travelling in South America few years back everyone hugs and everyone says I love you.
So now I say it all the time to the people I care about (still freaks my mother out tho!) |

I say it sooooo much! My children multiple times a day, my beloved friends frequently, the rest of my family every once in a while. It's good to remind people, and to say why you love and value them too. |

In my head, this morning
In writing (whatsapp message), at New Year
In person, last September
I'm not a huge one for telling someone how I feel - I've been hurt too many times. My family aren't the touchy feely sort. |
