Just doing my bit for the birds....
Jump to: Newest in thread
Spent an hour on my hands and knees brushing cat fluff out of the carpet.
Just put the fur in bowl on a pedestal in the garden for the birds to take and insulate their nests.
Good deed for the day done. ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I used to use a window cleaner's squeedgy rubber blade thingy to sweep the carpet - cat hair came up like magic! |

I've got a coconut hair scrubbing brush, does brilliant work on the carpets.
Going to try the window cleaners squeegy thing next.

I have multiple bird feeders in the garden, and put out the fluff collected in the tumble dryer for the birds to make use of.
Don't forget to put out fresh warm water every day when the temperatures are close to freezing; birds can't drink ice. |

Had approx 150 fieldfares, demolishing my windfall Bramleys, in the last few days (garden is now covered in orangey mush) but strangely, no redwings this year.
Did have a big buzzard, sat in the nearby silver birch, keeping a watchful eye on the feeding frenzy. |
