little house on the praire

Yes i also saw that, the boy only looks about 10 himself. What would i do if that was my son is a very difficult question as my son is 18 and although had a couple of "girlfriends" in school isnt ready for a relationship. I also taught him from a very early age about using condoms. Now there is nothing to say that this boys parents didnt do the same and he choose to ignore there advice. They are both so young, obviously naive. If my son was in that situation i would stand by him as he is my son, however, i would now be helping him to plan for a future life. Help him to work at school, parttime job. At 13 there isnt much he can do but he can definetly lay the foundations for the future. There is nothing to say these two wont make good parents and he is playing a part in the childs life and hasnt just walked away.

It would be interesting to see what the situation is like in a years time when interest has died down, they realize they can say goodbye to a normal teenage life of going out all the while and spending money willy nilly. With the right help and support lets hope they beat the odds and make a good life.

Some may be saying (and im definetly one of them) there but for the grace of god go i.

OMG, cant imagine that!

Have a 14YO son and hope I have another 10 years yet at least before I become a granny!!!

You have to bring em up right, care and teach them right from wrong. I do.

If does make one wonder about Nature though, about how Nature dictates that if your body is able to produce issue then given half a chance at it, it will!

These two followed a natural urge and unfortunately for them, they got caught out.

I'm pretty sure that with the amount of sex education kids get at school these days that even if the young lad wasn't aware of the whole birds and bees concept at 13, she, at 15, was certainly aware of it. I know it takes two to tango but I do feel that a higher proportion of the blame lies with the girl than with the lad in this case as there is a vast knowledge gap regarding sexual awareness between youngsters of 13 and those of just a couple of years older.

I clealry remember the night I lost my virginity at 14 - I didn't feel a thing and didn't even know if I'd cum or not but I knew one thing for sure - once I'd tasted the forbidden fruit nothing on this earth was going to stop me tasting it again, at whatever the cost. And that was down to ignorance on my part, I simply didn't know back then what it could lead to. Sure I knew about kids and creation etc but I had no idea how tough - and expensive - it is/was to raise a child and that's where we need to teach youngsters about sex - not the physical act and the mechanics of it but the consequences, the 'your life is no longer your own from this point on' aspect of it.

Get that message across and the kids will think twice in future.

It does make one wonder about Nature though.

Fabville !!!

My grandson is almost 11 and looks the same age as that young lad. My daughter and myself where horrified, how can they look after a baby he is certainly not mature enough, and what is a girl aged 15 (who should know better) doing having sex with a mino. had she been 16 then i am sure she would have been prosecuted. It has just been on news again and that lad looks like a baby himself. God help them.Personally i am surprised it has not been mentioned about the baby being taken into care.

More shocking is that apparently the girls parents are allowing them to live together, in their house (council of course), with the baby and the mothers 5 other brothers and sisters (All on benefits.....)

These children should be kept apart because I bet my bottom dollar that she's pregnant again within 18 months.
