Star Trek or Star Wars?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Trek is better regarding plots (time travel and parallel universe ones especially) plus the awesome fictional scientifics but in terms of pure action, Star Wars takes the prize (or at least DID) for me - Light sabres - need I say any more? |

I love both but probably more a Trekkie to be honest. I used to adore voyager growing up but I watched deep space nine back to back a few years back and growing up I always thought it was boring as hell but I actually really really enjoyed it.

I love all things Trek and there are some good episodes of Voyager but I can't understand at all how you can rate it as your second favourite series. |

I prefer Trek to Wars but they are both good and provide different entertainment
As to saying Star Wars is just for kids, watch Rogue One, that's basically the star wars version of "The Dirty Dozen" |

Because excluding Date, Worf and Barclay i didn't really like the other characters.
(Remember it would be a rather boring world if we all liked and disliked the same things) |

Star Trek for me.
Never really understood the hype of Star Wars. It's OK. I wouldn't pay to watch it but could happily sit through it if it came on TV. Not sure how many there are now but I've seen 3 or 4 of them. |

Wars all the way. Trek floundered after the one from Quantum Leap showed up. Although I'm enjoying the new netflix one. To me Trek is like Dc and Wars us like Marvel. |

Both are very enjoyable, but I think i prefer Star Trek. I'm really enjoying Discovery on Netflix. I think TNG is the best, then Enterprise, DS9, then Voyager. I'll wait until the end of the series of Discovery until I decide where it fits in, but it will be near the top. |

"Depends on whether Seven of Nine is involved.
No T'Pol???
Trek for me too
Picard, & Sisko, Captains you'd follow anywhere!"
T'Pol was hot, so was Hoshi. I loved those mirror darkly episodes |

I grew up with Star Trek the series,
Films weren’t great apart from Khan.
The new Trek films are really good.
Star Wars is amazing 4,5,6 superb
1,2,3 not so good but still telling the story of Vader.
7,8,9 what have Disney done don’t get it yet hopefully all will be revealed in the last one.
Which do I prefer- Star Wars |

This question always makes me think of the Dead Ringers sketch where Christopher Ecclestone is told by his father that he’s let the whole family down by taking the part because they’re Star Trek through and through. |

Wars 7 and 8 I think whilst not as good as 4 5 and 6 I think are pretty good. 8 especially so. Much better than 1 2 and 3. Rogue one however is fantastic in my opinion. That's up there with Empire as my joint favourite. |

Loved the original trek and next gen. Voyager and ds9 not so much. Khan is deffo the best of the movies. The others are just average for me. Though I have not watched the reboots. Think i'll put that right soon now I think on. |

"Star Trek (original series only)
Star Wars is for children!"
Certainly is now.
I liked the originals and even some of the 3 prequels. But this latest set can munch my stump.
Trek for me |

I always remember how the uss enterprise caught my Imagination has a kid and loved the battle scenes against the klingons, those photon torpedoes were pretty accurate to the Klingons dismay, They did,nt stand a chance against the Enterprise.. till they could put up a Invisible screen and hide behind it thou they never had the power of the Enterprise.. |
