"For me it has to be Pär Sundström from Sabaton on bass. Brilliant bassist and Hannes Van Dahl from Sabaton is a great drummer!
But fave drummer has to be Jocke Wallgren from Amon Amarth. Those double pedals are brilliant to listen to "

Tomas Haake, the drummer from meshuggah.
Rumour has it that doctor strange was based on Tomas due to his ability to manipulate and control time.
This mans level of skill is unbelievable. |

John Bonham, for raw power on drums.... A very close equal second, Ginger Baker and Neil Peart.
Norman Watt Roy on bass. I've seen him play a couple of times and he is really quite good... Close second would be Geddy Lee. |

Guy Evans - Van def Graaf Generator. I'm convinced he was the original inspiration for Animal of the Muppets! https://youtu.be/rGHat7IeNaA
And Jah Wobble of course. I can't think of any other bass player that has the breadth of musical style, from post punk, to jazz, to japanese, to irish poetry, he even wrote a requiem mass... |
