yes, its an option open to anyone..the reason i use it, and i imagine a lot of women do, is that if you look at a profile,for whatever reason, they are likely to message you because they interpret just looking at a profile as an overpowering lust that needs sating within the hour! |

yes, its an option open to anyone..the reason i use it, and i imagine a lot of women do, is that if you look at a profile,for whatever reason, they are likely to message you because they interpret just looking at a profile as an overpowering lust that needs sating within the hour!"

Yes of course it's true xxx
Women actually like to look at profiles as much as men however the difference is
Men don't run stealth mode as they hope , lady will see she has been viewed and send a message
Women of course run stealth mode as they know if a man saw his profile has been viewed he will assume the woman is desperate to meet him , not messaged because she is shy and will be pestered by said male who won't understand a lady can browse a man's profile yet not want to converse

Yes, I realise it's an option open to all. & I can understand the reason for the ladies not wanting to show themselves. My point was my friend said 'most women'.... I was just curious to the possibly percentage that do go undercover against those that don't... ? |

Recently scrolling down local updates on my phone, I pressed longer than need, and opened someone's profile.
I didn't even look, just clicked back.
I then did this twice more on 2 other profiles. Yes I have fat fingers!
Within a few minutes all 3 had messaged me.
Maybe I should activate the stealth button?! |

As the meaning of 'stealth' could be: 'cautious and surreptitious action', I would think most of us would wish to be cautious.
And in that 'surreptitious' can mean: 'in a way that attempts to avoid notice or attention', this is sensible action and advisable for most . . . |

I think a lot of fab folk in general go stealth ninja eventualy. If you've had a look at a profile and want to initiate a chat to see if you might get on, then you send a message. However... if you had a look and thought it wasnt your cuppa... Well, it saves recieving a "did you like what you saw" message |

That's a relief, I was beginning to worry that no one was viewing my profile!. Now I can at least pretend that I've had 100's of views, they've just all been cloaked or in stealth mode!! |

So if you view them and not interested, saves them wasting time viewing or messaging you.
If we had to click on 2 or 3 times, we don't want them to jump to conclusions that we're stalking them or being pervy.
We often view in stealth mode. |

I got called 'dodgy' and 'cagey' when I explained stealth mode to a guy who moaned I hadn't looked at his profile...

I do that all the time ... one of the reasons we are in stealth mode!!
