Who's got the best voice around at the moment??
Got the Sam Smith album a couple of days ago and can't stop playing it, his voice is really blowing me away.
Just downloading Rag'n'Bone Man's last one too. |

"Sam smith could make 'Happy birthday' make me feel depressed. His voice makes my ears bleed.
"
He is very emotional, and some very heartrending lyrics - that's why I like him. But fabulous control!! |

Not for me sorry, anyone who sings with their falsetto through 90 percent of The songs, I have to turn off. But, he's popular, can't deny that. |

He uses the depth of his voice much more through the album - he has stunning resonance. |

"Mind you , so sad we will never hear new material from the Legend that was George Michael. The only one who did Freddy Mercury any justice."
Adam Lambert is phenomenonal...no one can replace Freddie but he certainly does the songs and his performance justice! |

"Gregory Porter"
Beat me to it by seconds, he has an awesome voice.
Also I went to see Lemar live once, that's probably the best voice I've heard live other than myself in the shower, which is just heavenly |

Too much for me - I like Beth Hart and have grown to like Joanne Shaw Taylor because of her blues guitar. |

Really ? . Still not in the same league as Freddy.
There's a fantastic tribute band called Queen nation. His Freddy act is something to watch, fantastic. Look out for them. |

The girl whispering breathily in my ear...

Badly?
Seems no one's mentioned Eva Cassidy yet..
A voice that could make rocks shed a tear and sadly taken far too young. |

No one is in the same league as Freddie....but if someone's gonna sing his songs with his band, Lambert is the best choice by far, he's a fucking superstar, doesn't get nearly enough credit! |

Saw Adam Lambert with Queen. He isn’t trying to replace Freddy or in anyway do a “stars in your eyes” kind of deal. He does his own thing and absolutely smashes. Best voice I’ve ever heard live. |

"Adam Lambert’s voice is phenomenal.
Chris Daughtry also has a great rock voice.
"
He does - I was appalled when I went to Ramblin' Man how many rock singer literally just screamed!!
My favourite rock voice by far is Noah Hunt, so rich!!

Hayley Williams is an incredibly talented singer - never really realised until I saw a video in my YouTube feed comparing Paramore’s album tracks to her live vocals... she is flawless! I’m also loving Sigrid at the moment, she has a beautiful raw edge to her vocals. |

"Devin Townsend has one of the best vocal ranges in my opinion"
No idea who he was, went on YouTube, worse 90 seconds of my life. He’s awful in my opinion. Like someone’s dad got on BGT because Linda from the Wagon and Horses says he was decent on Karaoke |

I wouldn't be a true fan if I failed to put Gary Lightbody here . His accent comes through in his singing in the most glorious way, I love hearing the way the words are formed as he sings (marry me ?) |

Although I'm a fan of Sam smith and Ed Sheeran
I'm also in agreement with several people with Gregory Porter
But one artist I love listening to is a guy called Leon Bridges
Very talented and very under rated
He has the same soulful voice of Sam Cooke
Worth listening to if you get the chance |

Sam Smith - very much of a permanent whine, like a car's faulty transmission
Rag & Bone Man plus Gregory Porter are the ones
Female wise, Paloma Faith has an edge and doesn't sound like all the other formulaic females. |

Best male vocal i've heard in years of working gigs is Andrea Bocelli- all your prancing pop show ponies aren't even in the same league when it comes to range, clarity and sheer power of vocal- that man doesn't need a PA system.
Best female vocal is Rod Stewarts main backing vocalist- she should have a recording contract of her own with how well she belted out some soul classics while he nippd off for a piss and a pint for 10 minutes |

Yes, he was a classic rock voice.
James Taylor sounds exactly the same - I find his voice so comforting and reassuring, very unique. "

Sam Smith is ok until he does that weird high pitched yodel type thing, and he does that in every song, so sadly i have to switch him off.
I like Dan Reynolds voice from Imagine Dragons.
I'm quite partial to a bit of Rhianna and Pink but not sure how they sound live.
