I think it's because we never used to have things like this all year round like we do now.

Over indulgence was reserved for Xmas and special occasions.

Now you can pop to the pound shop and buy giant bars of chocolate any day.

They've certainly changed, not just the chocolate flavour but also the choice - peanut cracknell, gooseberry creams, coffee creams, nougat and square caramels are all varieties I can remember when I was young. Admittedly that *was* a long time ago. They're a bit boring now

Yep - nor unwrap them in different ways then shape the empty wrapper

They're the best but still not as nice as they used to be.

I know...and then the ultimate joy of carefully re-wrapping a suitably shaped object and putting it back in the tin!!

It's a disgrace I tell you!!

Unlike a tub of Quality street, which aren't as deep as they used to be in the olden days.

The new honeycomb one was nice according to my children who pretty much demolished a tub on Saturday/Sunday!

Nooo! We've bought Quality Street for the first time in about 25 years, don't tell me we're in for a disappointment .

"There's not enough green triangles... "

Sorry! I've often got a lot to do with that

I wish we could just buy a box of the green triangles.

My friend regularly brings chocolate back from the States. That is horrible stuff.
