I just want all the cheese with all the crackers, breads, pickles and celery and apples and grapes!
ALL OF IT!
Oh and crisps go nicely with a cheeseboard - before you hate it try it |

There's these biscuits called 'toast for cheese' which are amazing ... they do one with hazelnuts and dates, add some truffled brie (Tesco Xmas range) and I can't think of much else I'd prefer in my mouth ... |

"Marmite rice cakes and Leerdammer"
Oh. This is new. . I like this idea .
We should start a cheese club. Each week we try something, and come back and give the cheese a verifsction. (Sort of).
I'm getting excited over cheese,...I know |

Too many cheeses. Too many biscuits. But recently white or blue castello on a rosemary cracker has been a particular fave, perhaps because they're both always on offer at my local supermarket. |

"I was lucky enough to get the cheese advent calendar, sadly only 5 different cheeses in it, but it's a good excuse to eat cheese every day. "

"Where to start. Little excites me more than cheese. The tang of a mature cheddar, the unctuousness of a ripe Camembert, the squeak of a halloumi.
Cheese is life. "
I'm coming to you for a cheese fest tomorrow |

I specifically chose my weight stabilising diet because cheese isn't a restricted food on it. I eat it every day and without thinking about it I know there's at least 7 different varieties in my fridge at this precise moment. |

Going slightly off the subject here, but I really really miss a Ploughman's lunch at the pub.
I mean nothing like the arty farty stuff of a posh cheeseboard, if you can still get that.
I'd LOVE a nice plate consisting of a good slab of cheese, a couple of bread doorstep slices, butter and a good dollop of pickle and or piccalli on the side.
Heaven.
I wish all pubs tried not to be so sophisticated sometimes. Trying to be spohisticated and witty all the time can become pretty boring. |

Even when pubs label it as 'rustic' it all looks a little staged sometimes. I agree, just give me good tasting food, not something that looks better than it tastes.
Has to be strong cheddar for me, and if you serve tiny pickles with cocktail sticks, I'm all yours. |

Can't beat a strong cheese. What's all that mild stuff about? I just don't get it!
I went to a sophisticated pub the other day with friends. Lovely food, tiny portions! Friends were paying so I didn't grumble. Left as hungry as I'd arrived so, went home via the chip shop
I'm with you on the ploughman's. The real ale House Truro did the best I've ever had. Don't know if it's still there. |
