I’m not sure if you actually can eradicate it completely but you can delete iCloud accounts held on it.

I'm trying to bypass icloud,l did it a few years ago with an iPhone with the aid a youtube video that doesn't seem to be in anymore,l've got a few to fix up so was just wondering if anyone knew
