Right had to do it - sent my first ever sarcastic message!
Reply to an advert and I was bang to rights ticked all the boxes..........!
Now the last one is personal preference. Thats fine can do nothng about that, but then they blocked me as well!
But lord a wee "no thanks" never hurt |

Fair point, but if you don't even reply to the initial message in any shape or form how the heck is anyone going to determine if that little something is there or not! |

The thing is couples get lots of posts and its harder to meet the requirements of both people.By replying it invites further dialogue then further explanation then normally the badgering as to "why you have not responded to my previous post post" ...
now imagine you get 60 + posts a day as single woman do which would mean potentially 300 posts per day building up .. ....
They simply do not have the time ,inclination ,energy since a lot of the posts are cut and pastes ...not saying yours was .

I know its hard as a single guy to understand it, as we rarely get messages out of the blue, but single women on here can get hundreds of mails in a week. it's slightly unfair to expect them to reply to them all. |

Then multiply that figure by 100, factor in any time if they actually want to do what they want on here e.g. chatting on the forums, speaking to people they actually like and want to meet... then you will get a real figure as to how long they'd have to spend on here if they tried to be 'polite' to everyone. |

Can i just say that we always try and reply
However like a few of our friends on here when we have said NO to single males (and i am not saying the majority by the way) we have recived back nasty emails from some who cannot take rejection
Get a few of those yourself and you may understand why it is that some couples etc do not reply if they do not like the look of the profile
We realise that the majority of singles are alright and do take rejection well the ones that dont however spoil it for the others in some cases  |

Just because YOU think you tick all the right boxes does not mean the recipient thinks the same. How do you know the recipient has not looked at your profile and thought "oh my god not a feckin chance"
You have ASSUMED you are what they are looking for and have now got all needy and pissy when no reply is forthcoming, not a good trait in this way of life

I lack the common courtesy to reply to every message I get and guess what…. I still get meets!
In fact I have one coming over now - bless he’s just finished work so I think a shared soak in the bath is the first order of the evening…. before getting all sweaty again by shagging each other senseless
