It's so confusing when people refer to motorbikes and bicycles as bikes, just choose one

Its getting dire.. most boxing is pay per view too. Although can make a night of it if we can find a pub showing it.

That's all very well if you fancy a night out though. I remember when you could make a night of it by getting a few beers in and watching Marvelous Marvin in the ring or Rocket Ron (who I've actually raced against)

Tennis or darts anyone

Are you referring to the loss of the Discovery channels and some Eurosport channels from Feb 1st?

It's due to the Discovery channel group ramping up its fees, they now want Sky to pay £1billion to be able to transmit their channels...

I think there's a lot of posturing from both Discovery and Sky at the moment.

We'll have to wait and see what happens. I reckon Sky will lose a lot of customers if it happens, me being one of them.

Well I for one hope there will be a reduction in my 100 pounds a month sky bill to reflect the reduction of service.

I know this was originally about motorbikes but SKY sponsor a cycling team with the biggest budget in the world. Eurosport have the broadcast rights to pretty much every major bike race. The standoff on both sides is not unconnected to this but ultimately it will get resolved because SKY aren't going to plough millions in to a sport that it's subscribers can't watch

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

"Well I for one hope there will be a reduction in my 100 pounds a month sky bill to reflect the reduction of service. "

I've seen talk that they're losing enough channels to trigger a cancellation clause - but it may have been talk. Worth exploring if you feel strongly about it.

Cali, I had this issue when that bloody BT stole it from Sky.

But know it's all fine. I downloaded Mobdro.

Watch it live on my tablet, phone, or stream it to the telly! No cost at all, just need a reasonable WiFi connection. X

Get kodi downloaded to an Amazon fire stick. B gets all the moto gp and superbike stuff through that.

Have you considered the motogp video pass it's like 100 euro for the season with access to the back catalogue and testing etc.?

Maybe get someone to help you sort out kodi as it really is good.

We use it although we also have all the sports channels aswell ... we are very obsessed with sport !

Good luck.

I'm sure they could easily manage it, but Sky will never be held to ransom like that... Dont know how much they were paying before, but I bet it was a lot less than a billion quid!!
