Opinions,
We have rings for married, engaged people to show others that they are spoken for.
How about colour coded rings to let others know ..
Single/ straight
Single / bi- sexual
Single / gay
And best of all ..
I,ve got a boyfriend/girlfriend ring ( so fuck off ring )
To avoid wasting each others time.... So you know the score before you enter a conversation... |

Conversation is a good thing, why come up with ways for people not to communicate. It's bad enough with FaceAche and Twitts removing actual talking from people's skills. |

"Not every conversation I have is sexually motivated......
I would bet that a few guys have seen your ring piece though "
I'm not adverse too enlarging the circle of my fiends..... |

I originally thought this a good idea & if we lived in a eutopia it would be because everyone would still chat with everyone else & locate the right ring colour when they are ready.
But that is not what would happen, in the real world people would be ignored & guys would just sit there checking ring colours out sitting silently on their own (they do already).
On our last club visit we got chatted up by a lovely coloured guy, thought after a bit we should point out it wasn't happening as our pref is for the girls.
Guess what happened? He carried on chatting with us until someone else caught his eye, sometime later, that didn't get very far so he came back & chatted & danced with us for a lot of the evening.
Now if we were wearing said ring would he have ever found out that maybe we are quite open to chat to people even if he wasn't going to get to play? Or would he hit on the few ring wearings & if rejected gone home or sat there glumly?
Go to a club to have fun, which can and does mean more than just getting your oats sorted.

Agreed not all conversations are sexually motivated...
But often been in scenarios, or heard of ones where...
You should of asked them out ,whilst just assuming they were taken
Or hearing someone was well into to you ,you never saw it,and they were to nervous to ask.
Or of course misreading signals all together.. |

Will do, but I'll have to ring you first, just to be sure that you're not a timewaster |
