If your age limit excludes 50+, this thread isn't for you.
If you are in your fifties (or above), you will probably have noticed that typical forum contributors are rarely 50+ friendly. Apparently, fifty is the end of your sexual life - who knew?
Whatever is going on in the forum, there's a valid niche for the 50+ crowd to post their opinions (we like sex too!), so here is your chance.
The subject doesn't matter - it can be Hotlisters, Christmas, Snogging, Dating, Socials, 'Fancy a Fuck?'... whatever you like. Say Hi. Start a conversation.
Just don't post the usual whiney stuff, because everyone is probably sick of the same old bullshit (am I right?). I know we are almost dead but lets keep it positive - lol
I've hidden my profile, because this isn't a look-at-me thread - but in case you were wondering, I'm 53.

I'm 51 and have had a very interesting Fab week....well the last 3 days anyway although I'm reluctant to say why in the Forum for upsetting all the Fabbers who don't believe that over 50s Single Males who only meet in daytime get anything on Fab  |

Finished at 50 god no .I'm loving it every single minute.I don't look or act my age .when I go out dancing I put many a 20 or 30 year old to shame.I just keep going .I get loads of offers .ive got many friends both male and female ranging from about 18 or 19 to 65. I go to the local student gay scene up here on a monday night .yes I'm might be the oldest swinger in town but you can't keep a goodun down . so never say never.I won't respond to some daft remark on here either take me or leave me I couldn't care less. |

Not far off the big 50 and I am.looking forward to it. My life began at forty , I am more fun more secure more free now then I ever was in my younger days .
I used to fib about my age in here to get round some.peoples filters.
Now like me foe who I am I found mist of my friends who welcomed me back did

I'm 51 and a half and don't really care whether I'm deemed as over the hill or not...although I don't think its as much of a problem for women as it is for men..
I do know, to combat the dreaded 5-0, that a lot of men reset their age to 48 so maybe just keep tuning back that clock ...but obviously that would only work if you have the pics to back it up  |

Not ageist - trying to promote and stimulate lively discussion, among the frequently overlooked 50+ membership.
It seems the over-fiftys here, are all in agreement that we arent past it yet, so that's encouraging to see!
Just trying to see if more of us can leave the comfy slippers at home and get involved a bit more.

Apologies if my response seemed dismissive or flippant. I've been in the same position myself. For most of this year, I havent been bothered about meets at all, apart from socialising. Mojo should return - just needs time. Keep enjoying everything else |

54 and 58 here......the forums give us plenty of interesting threads to comment upon never had a problem with that.....plenty of swinging action in our local clubs too - though I have noticed that at 58 Ian is now taking little 'recovery' rests every now and again....m x |

I'm 56. Been posting in the forums happily for years and never encountered ageism. Other nonsense haha but not that! I only joined 4 years ago (this is my second profile) and I've had the best time, met great people and had many a naughty adventure. |

Well, I'm in the dying few months of my fifties, soon to be the big six zero. But last night guess where I was? I was rocking away at a Status Quo concert with REO Speedwagon as support!!, then on the piss around Brum and Cov, trying to pull what I could.

Even if I gave up smoking, it would take me a few years to be aged 85
I'm not really looking for 85 year olds I'm not sure there are many of them on here 
I've been on here for just over 10 years and the eldest I've ever seen (7 yrs ago) was a bloke who was about 82 at the time, and he had recent veris. It proves ya can't keep an old dog down  "

Soon to be 60 and I have been posting in the forums for four years, not that I get noticed very often. Can't say I don't try!

Good morning all - I'm delighted to see you all still having lots of fun, and proving that age is just a number .
It is great to see a vibrant, active, mature contingent on here - thanks for posting.
Didn't say the forum was anti-50's.. just that the majority of contributors to typical threads, seem to have age prefs which end at 50. It is a very common cut-off figure.
btw - gotta say, some sexy people up there! |

51 here and only joined the site (with our couples profile) earlier this year when still 50. Whilst 50 does appear to be a cut off age for many on here, I don't personally see that as a barrier, any more than any other preference that people may state.
Have yet to have a meet through the site but when we've gone to clubs age doesn't come into it at all, and in fact some have been surprised when our true age has beem revealed.
So there's something out there for all of us, regardless of age, it just may be a little more limited finding people through the site because of their age preferences, but so be it |

Agree with the above & I know I sort of have "An in" to those of a lower age range already in H, but just occasionally we get contacted by those ladies considerably lower than H in age & sometimes their first attraction is me. Always a good feeling tbh & i'm very grateful to them for saying so in conversations we have. We are looking forward to eventually meeting some of them in the new year whether socially or otherwise.
Age really is just a number if you want it to be, it's all about outlook & attitude in our book. The only thing I really wish is that I looked after my body a bit more & tried to shed my bit of excess weight earlier as it seems much harder to do once over 50 but its not impossible & its coming off albeit slowly

I'll be 50 next May and have no intention whatsoever to slow down, and intend to meet young hung studs as long as they'll have me. I know it is easier for us ladies (apparently) but it is a state of mind, even if the flesh in getting weak. |

With you on that one S...let myself go for years until just after my 50th when it was a choice of an XXL shirt or doing something about it!! Kicking myself now, that I didn't do something about it sooner, as I've lost three and a half stone since then and it was really no great effort at all, and I feel so much better for it. |

Well, just goes to show the above is shite, I'm in the right age range have all the trimmings as above except the height. Tinsel is heightist that's all & as its a preference like age there's fuck all you can do about it. If you have a thing for tall women look elsewhere, we know two six foot plus that would play..perhaps its something else?

With you on that one S...let myself go for years until just after my 50th when it was a choice of an XXL shirt or doing something about it!! Kicking myself now, that I didn't do something about it sooner, as I've lost three and a half stone since then and it was really no great effort at all, and I feel so much better for it.

Was 15st 8lbs when I got the kick up the backside I needed, now holding steady at around 12st 7lbs, went as low as 12st 3lbs before our holiday but to be honest was looking a little gaunt. Next step is the gym to tone away some of the other excess flab!! |

I joined this site when I was 52. I had never done anything like this before in my life and now wish I had done it earlier In the early days, I went for guys my own age and couldn't understand why young guys would be interested in me, an oldie. However, one day I thought "why not, nothing ventured" and haven't looked back since, and long may it continue, still life in the old lady yet  |

i just turned 50 (14/12) so far met in cam rooms two beautiful ladies alot younger,,in their mid thirties and get on great with both ones married,and both verified me ..not all bad. but as yet no meets but seems things are on the up |

I'm 52 and haven't noticed my age being any bar to welcome attention from some lovely people. Obviously, there must be some for whom it's a deterrent but as I'm unaware of who they are and more than happy with those who *are* interested it doesn't bother me one bit. I don't think I could cope with any *more* interest in fact  and have had a brilliant time this year.
So far as the forums are concerned, I've rarely felt excluded from joining in with any thread due to being 'too old' (it's my confidence, or lack of it, that stops me, not anyone else) and have never once detected any unfriendliness - other than from the odd nobhead who's snarled at everyone. |
