any 'fuel' be that aviation or something else that is alight will if it reaches about 650 degrees causes steel beams to lose their structural integrity through distortion and expansion..

Any idea why its moving away from earth ? Is there a stronger gravitational pull pulling it away ? Or is earth loosing its gravitational pull ?

The moon has the gravitation pull to move tides but why does the oceans not end up in outer space ?

Structural steel as used in the trade towers has to be fore protected so even jet fuel burning wouldn't get it hot enough for it to collapse and who has ever seen a building that big collapse into its own foot print unless in a controlled demolition...

Tim commerford from the band Rage against the machine (who's father worked for NASA) recently remembered when he met Buzz Aldrin.

“I got into it with Buzz Aldrin five years ago at a John Cusack movie premiere. There were a bunch of people gathered around, and I said he said to him:

“I have a question: You have all these missions to the moon. How come there’s no pictures of the flags on the moon?” He said, “Well, those are highly degraded by radiation by now.” I said, “You left a lot of stuff on the moon. It seems that somebody with a telescope or satellite would snap a picture of that so we could see it. It’d be on the cover of every newspaper.”

“You could tell he was getting frustrated, and I asked him why he put a metal rod on top of the flag instead of just letting the flag out and do its thing. He gets all frustrated and says, “I’m just trying to remember what they told me to say.”

Buzz was also asked to swear on a Bible that he'd beento the moon and if he did the guy would donate thousands to a charity of his choice...he punched the guy!!!

Is the really the behaviour of someone who achieved one if the most amazing feats in history??

It melt steel however the amount that was in that plane (considering what would have burnt off in impact) would have been amazing to melt enough steel of a building that was surrounded by steel columns in a way that it collapsed free fall...TWICE!

Oh and there was enough 'jet fuel' to bring down world trade centre 7 too.

Well seeing how the atmosphere is less than 21 % oxygen and the blast from the exploding plane would like all explosions take the weakest link out ie the glazing.

Any remaining fuel wouldn't be near enough to create the heat to generate a storm effect fire...

I've worked in both structural construction and demolition and could see as it happened it wasn't right how it happened..

Since then ive seen the supposed detailed analysis of how it supposedly fell down.It just doesn't add up.

Coupled with all the air defence and everything away on exercise etc..seems someone was selling the need for a war...

yes the steel should have been coated in a fire resistant material, but there does not exist a fire resistant material which is capable of such an impact as occurred..

by its design and how its applied and after it sets, all fire resistant material is susceptible to impact..

there were issues as reported by the inspecting Fire Engineers going back to the early 90's with the fire resistant coatings in the towers were large sections had become loose since application..

also the ring main necessary to drop such a building would have been installed when and why? before the war on terror?

and any ring main is also not designed to survive the impact of a passenger plane, and why would one bother with both..?

Conspiracy theories were probably started by governments - and they certainly are prolific users of them now.

Its a great way to distract attention, mix real stories in with thr crap and we all start wearing tin foil hsts and miss the plot.

I guess the moon is real and probably the landings.

But space travel is too destructive of our own world, so would prefer it stopped.

9/11. What about building 7?. Nothing hit it. It was on fire. And it just 'fell down'. Text book demolition. Right down to the perfectly timed explosive charges they tried to hide.

"Jet fuel can't melt steel beams

Yes it can.

Given enough oxygen the charcoal from your BBQ could do it as well.....the steel bowed outwards... Leaving the concrete floors to fall on to each other.

these were the first and only steel skyscrapers to have ever collapsed through fire..the report was so corrupt... engineers around the world are challenging it.

Was the report corrupt? Possibly.

Were the Trade centre towers built to a substandard specification? Maybe.

Did a bunch of mad Mussies fly two planes into them? Certainly."

Wow...I'm not sure whether I'm shocked at the racism or the fact that you're 'certain' a gang of people managed to hijack two planes with box cutters and other shanks and then both hit their targets perfectly and cause the worst destruction to New York in history??...

Mmmmm...what next...oh wait, that's right they found one of their passports in the road..??? Certainly must have been them, wait..half of them are actually saying they're still alive and Bin Laden has NEVER been officially accused of the crime...but...must have happened how the tellybox told us...just like them fellas that went to the moon.

Some interesting 9/11 facts...

There are thousands of witness testimonies from people who were in the building including hundreds from NYPD and fire department that state there was a series of explosions BEFORE any plane hit the towers. These explosions were in the basement causing damage and injuries to anyone in that area.... FACT

The telephone calls made by the people on the plane could not have been made from a plane at that altitude...FACT

At least 8 of the alleged hijackers reported to be responsible are still alive and have been identified... FACT

Larry Silverstein, head of the Silverstein group who had recently purchased the 99 year 3.2 Billion dollar lease hold of the WTC complex discovered that the buildings were an asbestos time bomb and would need at least 200 million dollars spent on removing it and making the buildings safe.

Instead he took out an insurance policy which coincidentally included "acts of terrorism".

After the attacks the insurers Swiss re argued that it was a single terrorist attack and tried to settle the claim at 3.5 Billion dollars. The Silverstein group challenged this and a following court case agreed it was two separate attacks so the insurers were forced to pay 4.6 Billion dollars out... Fact

All US military response aircraft were mysteriously sent on exercises that day which meant the hijacked planes were able to fly in the most highly guarded airspace in the world without any intervention... FACT

There are plenty more facts well documented which are all pretty damming. If your interested just look and find them.

If it was a conspiracy and the building was rigged with explosives, it would be simpler to just exclude the jets from the plot and just say al quaeda just blew the towers up with explosives.

Doesn't pass a common sense test straight off.

The official explanation which you obviously have swallowed does not stand up to scrutiny. There is no common sense involved.

Have you ever heard the saying "if you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything"

Just as you can search for "facts" like those above, they can also be debunked with google searches. It's nice that people question things, but I'm inclined to believe reputable sources, rather than truther blogs. But people will search for whatever backs up their beliefs - we are obviously just on different ends of the spectrum here.

For me, the simple fact that thousands of people would be required to keep the cover up secret makes it highly unlikely to be a huge conspiracy.

All these FACTS will make the court case pretty straightforward, the jury will just need half a day on google to mop it all up.

In the afternoon they can sort out the moon landing.

Jesus it feels like the schools have broken up early.

911 - rigging a building with explosives takes a little planning and a fair bit of preparation work. Planning and preparation that would not have gone unnoticed. Crazy men drove planes into the towers and made a bit of a mess. Whether the governments knew about it and let it happen is another story that might have legs.

Moon - just google the conspiracy and you will find ten reasons debunking that conspiracy. It happened. Move on.

Some ideas on this thread are crazier than the plane on a treadmill!!!!!

I agree with you about not trusting politicians! They're usually lying about something or other.

But I do trust respected scientists and structural engineers. Like Popular Mechanics magazine's 5,000 word article debunking the myths about jet fuel, beams, the planes etc.

There's a reason that the truther movement has been on the decline for years, and why the media doesn't report on what would be the biggest story in decades - there is no conspiracy.

Those who believe there is have been duped by others whose healthy skepticism has turned to obsessive paranoia... and a desire to sell books

Again, if you still believe than that's your choice. I just don't like to sit back silent while truthers try to ram their beliefs down everyone's throats like they are objective facts and not just theories based on inaccurate, misleading information.

There are many types of loud sharp noises that are not caused by explosives, and seismographic records of the collapse do not show evidence of explosions. If there was a controlled demolition then you would hear a series of closely spaced very loud bangs, but there is no audio evidence of this.

A quick internet search will surely help you with any other questions you have. I'm no expert, but I trust the experts in these fields, not people who just want to believe the man is behind it all.

Any idea why its moving away from earth ? Is there a stronger gravitational pull pulling it away ? Or is earth loosing its gravitational pull ?

The moon has the gravitation pull to move tides but why does the oceans not end up in outer space ? "

It has been moving further and further away from the Earth ever since it was created by an Earth collision event with another planetary body.

When the insurance company were arguing in court about paying out only £3.6Bn instead of whatever figure, it's a pity they didn't have the conspiracy theory experts to hand. They would then have simply paid nothing, with this clear cut evidence.

OK, you're far to intelligent for us simple souls (although your brain cells aren't being used for spelling).

Have fun at the University of the Internet.

"Find it pretty disrespectful to the families of the people that died in the twin towers that people keep bringing up these crackpot conspiracy theories, it's bordering on the lines of a man in the pub told me x so it's got to be true.

Re the moon landings get over it because it happened

All the conspiracy believers can all go back to coating your house in tin foil so that "they" can't find you and come and get you

"

..so the official line that we all should believe is that the 4 flight and cockpit voice recorders (black boxes) from the flights that hit the towers were completely obliterated to the point there wasn't a trace of them left BUT one if the terrorists passports was found in the rubble a short time later?....hmmmm yeah ok

Although i said im done with this thread

Road traffic accidents in which folk have been decapatated and head found 3 fields away from the burnt out vehicle

Or even a wheel found 3 wheels away from that completly burnt out vehicle

There is no proof that the passport didnt fly from the impact as soon as the cockpit windows was shattered

Wtf has a road traffic accident got to do with a passenger aircraft smashing into a building at over 500mph?... Did he throw it out of the window just before impact?....that'll be it
