How do you make yours ? I made a customer a cup today and she was well impressed and found it hard to believe it was instant coffee. My technique is to put the coffee in the the cup add some milk brown and if sugar is required i use brown and then just stir for a good few minutes, check the color add more milk if needed then fill up to the brim with warm but not boiling water |

I wait for approx 1 minute after the kettle has boiled before pouring over coffee..... I only ever drink black coffee and you get more flavour that way..... too hot and you scald the coffee making it bitter |

I buy mine from a barrista. I walk up, ask for a coffee and (pretty much instantly) she hands one over.
Actual instant coffee smells like bovril. And seems to be d*unk by gobshites that like to leave granules of the stuff in the sugar. Wankers.

Pour 2/3 hot milk onto coffee/sugar, stir while pouring, then remaining 1/3 boiling water. But that's only after I've burned through both my barista allowance and tassimo supply.
I'm not sure what about all this is making me feel embarrassed now I've typed it out |

See, I prefer instant!
I've had multiple people trying to force their range of fair-trade/Morrocan/gold-flecked/grown in a Nun's vagina/Barrista/Tassimo/filtered crap on me for years, and it's all either tasteless or tastes like piss water to me.
Even with my instant coffee, I'm picky though. It has to be either Doughe Egberts or Tesco's classic instant coffee.
I must have cheap tastes. XD

I love fresh ground, fresh brewed coffee. Sadly I've had to limit my caffeine intake and can only drink it about three times a week. The best alternative I've found is Gold Blend decaffeinated instant. |
